"Sigh, I've been working so hard for so long, I can finally take a good rest for a while."
Xie Zhou lay there, then turned over to make herself more comfortable.
“Immortal Venerable, Xie Zhou spoke rudely and interfered with the execution of the demon, so I took action. She brought this upon herself.”
The Grand Elder didn't see anything wrong with it at all.
Ling Feng's eyes were icy cold. He glanced at the Grand Elder, then turned around and put Luo Fantian down.
"Luo Fantian was entrusted to Xie Zhou's care by me, and Xie Zhou has fulfilled the task I assigned her very well. As for you..."
Lingfeng, however, fixed his amber eyes on the Grand Elder.
"Guards! Bring him out here!"
Lingfeng's cold voice made the Grand Elder feel a little nervous.
In a short while, a man dressed as a servant was pushed out.
"Having nothing to do, I took a stroll around the Sword Sect's student area. When I got there, I saw this guy dealing with some kind of animal carcass. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be one of our Sword Sect's horses."
Lingfeng waved his sleeve and glared at the servant with icy eyes.
"Tell me, what happened?"
Although Lingfeng spoke casually, a faint aura of pressure was unconsciously released around him.
This servant was just an ordinary person who had never seen such a scene before. Under the pressure, he immediately defecated and urinated.
“It was me…it was all me. I poured the horse blood into Luo Fantian’s room in the middle of the night. I…I was just scared. This kind of monster killed my family, so I…I…”
So you're going to frame other people?!
Xie Zhou shouted at the top of his lungs.
She then lay down again, pretending to be unconscious.
She was too tired, so incredibly tired. Whether it was fighting or arguing, Xie Zhou didn't want to care about any of it anymore. All she wanted to do now was lie down and relax.
"I...I was really scared that I did it, this...this is a demon spider!"
The servant almost collapsed to the ground.
"Who is behind this?"
Lingfeng asked another question.
"No, no, I made all of this on my own!"
That servant was quite loyal.
However, even a child could figure this out. If no one was directing him, would a servant dare to kill the Sword Sect's horses at will? That would be impossible.
However, the young man in front of him clearly had no intention of revealing who had ordered him to do so.
"Elder, this is the truth of the matter. Do you understand?"
Lingfeng frowned even more as he looked at Xie Zhou lying on the ground.
"This... but if Luo Fantian stays in the sect, it will eventually cause problems for the students below..."
"Then let Luo Fantian come to my Frost Palace."
Lingfeng said it casually.
The Grand Elder was stunned.
Given Lingfeng's usual nature of being averse to trouble, he would have preferred to eliminate such a potential problem as soon as possible, but he never expected it.
"this……"
The Grand Elder and the seven elders looked at each other in bewilderment.
"Does the Grand Elder have a problem with this?"
Lingfeng glanced coldly at the Grand Elder.
"By the way, Elder, shouldn't you give me an explanation for injuring my beloved disciple to this state?"
Lingfeng pulled Xie Zhou up from the ground.
"This woman spoke rudely; such a person should not be allowed to remain in the sect!"
The elder's face turned bright red.
"Yes, she's said those outrageous things more than once, saying that if we don't die today, she'll definitely kill us later!"
The Second Elder echoed the First Elder's sentiment.
"What Xie Zhou said is indeed a bit excessive. But she's just a little kid. Do you two elders really think you'd be afraid of being killed by this little kid?"
Although Lingfeng appeared fair on the surface, he was actually protecting Xie Zhou with every word he said.
"No, that's not the case..."
The Grand Elder sighed. Now that the Sword Master had spoken like this, what else could he say?
"Alright, alright, let's stop talking about it now."
Lingfeng frowned.
"Xie Zhou's injuries are serious. If he does not receive timely treatment, he may develop chronic illnesses. I'm afraid the Grand Elder cannot afford to take responsibility for that."
As Lingfeng spoke, he waved to Luo Fantian behind him.
"Luo Fantian, come with me too."
As Lingfeng spoke, he vanished without a trace.
"Immortal Venerable...I..."
Luo Fantian sighed, "So this is what differential treatment is all about."
In fact, Luo Fantian's injuries were no less than Xie Zhou's, but he still had to rely on his own hard work to reach the Frost Palace.
Stop pretending.
Lingfeng's cold voice came from Xie Zhou's ear.
"Master, I almost thought I wouldn't make it this day..."
Xie Zhou let out a long breath, the pain that the system had returned to him making him grimace.
"You've already come to this state, and you still won't stay put?"
Lingfeng looked at Xie Zhou, speechless.
"Master! I have a secret to tell you! My heart is on the right side!"
For some reason, Xie Zhou suddenly blurted out this sentence.
"I know."
Lingfeng, however, showed no expression on his face.
"Huh? You know that?"
Xie Zhou was somewhat disappointed.
“I knew it from the first time I healed you.”
Lingfeng continued coldly.
"I see."
Xie Zhou nodded softly. He felt so safe in Ling Feng's arms that he fell asleep without realizing it.
"The Immortal Venerable has returned!"
