The pretty girl on the right wasn't going to be outdone, and was even more lively, saying, "Boss, can I call you Brother Zhang? I'll come visit you sometime, okay?" She perfectly displayed the coquettishness of a young girl.
Zhang Hongmei pursed her lips tightly, staring at the play with wide, round eyes. She had to keep this up, or she'd break character and burst out laughing.
Zhang Shouyi remained expressionless, but out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of Zhang Hongmei's adorable expression, and he was filled with rage.
He looked directly at the middle-aged woman and said, "I'm sorry, you've disturbed me."
Xiao Li immediately came over and said, "The three of you, please leave right now." Xiao Li's actions and tone were quite forceful. This was not a place for shouting, so the three left reluctantly. However, the lively girl turned around and said, "Brother Zhang, my name is Liang Kexin. Will you take me out to play next time we meet?" She then gave a cute smile.
Zhang Hongmei couldn't hold back any longer and leaned on Gu Chuanming's shoulder, chuckling softly, her shoulders shaking. Zhang Hongmei knew that if she actually laughed out loud, she would attract too much attention, so she decided to just laugh secretly whenever she had a chance.
Gu Chuanming gave Zhang Shouyi a pitiful look.
Zhang Shouyi's face didn't change, but he changed his posture from right leg on top to left leg on the bottom.
Xiao Li's heart skipped a beat. This was a sign that his master was angry. He looked at Zhang Hongmei with sympathy, but he was also wondering why his master was angry.
"Hongmei, stop laughing. I'll tell you something even funnier when we get home, then you can laugh out loud."
Zhang Hongmei straightened up, but the smile on her face didn't completely disappear. The blush from her earlier suppressed laughter still lingered, causing the young men who had been watching to stare intently. "Isn't this what a beauty looks like?"

Zhang Hongmei glared at the old man, thinking, "Honestly, he's ruining my plans." But then she noticed Gu Chuanming's even more cheerful demeanor and realized something was amiss. Turning her head, she saw several young men approaching.
Zhang Hongmei's smile vanished. The two men beside her, however, laughed.
The young people were still quite naive. When they saw the elder next to the pretty girl smile, they assumed that the elder was not unhappy, so they became more confident and started making what they thought were cool gestures, swaying around, but they didn't come over.
"Grandpa, do you think boys are more reserved than girls?"
Why do you say that?
"Look, they're striking poses, but they're not actually coming over to chat you up."

"Mr. Gu, good evening, leaders. Hongmei, would you like to dance together later?"
Zhang Hongmei gave a fake smile and said, "I'm afraid you'll step on my foot."

Shan Mianzhi didn't stand on ceremony and sat down opposite Zhang Hongmei.

Zhang Hongmei glared at Zhang Shouyi, but did not reprimand him in front of outsiders.
However, Shan Mianzhi was struck dumb. Before, it was just his own guess, but now Zhang Shouyi had confirmed it with his own words. He really didn't want to accept this fact.
He glanced at Zhang Hongmei across from him again. The girl didn't seem to have any complaints, so did she agree? Gu Chuanming had a smiling expression on his face. Had they already reached a consensus?
Shan Mianzhi now prefers to believe that their relationship was a political one rather than that Zhang Shouyi truly had feelings for Zhang Hongmei.
