Chapter 1426 Happy Event

Hu Aifen and Li Cuihua were beaming with joy. This was a special feeling, as they were among the grandchildren, and this was the earliest child born. Of course, they were especially happy.

"Auntie, Third Auntie," Zhang Shouyi greeted the two elderly women with a smile, and then respectfully greeted Liu Aimin and Liu Maocai behind them.

The four families also spoke warmly with the four elders.

"Hongmei, when are you bringing the baby over?"

"Ganlu, go check and see if the baby has finished feeding. Have the nanny bring the baby over."

"No, let's go see for ourselves. Don't always make things difficult for the child." Li Cuihua dotes on the child the most.

"Auntie, the children will be fine at this temperature."

"Then let's not take them. Let's see Lijun and the other three."

Wang Ying also stood up and said, "Auntie, Third Auntie, I'll go and take a look too."

Zhang Hongmei followed behind the two elderly people.

Liu Aimin wanted to speak but stopped. He couldn't see it now, but he would see it later.

Actually, the four in-laws hadn't had enough of the children either. But the women weren't thinking about them at all right now; they could just sit back and wait.

They went to Lijun's room first. Zhang Ruiyang had just finished breastfeeding. The baby was small and had a small appetite, but he tried both of them and was able to produce milk, so they felt at ease.

Seeing the two elderly people enter, Yang Lijun quickly sat up. "Grandma, Third Grandma, Aunt Wang, you've arrived? Come and see your great-grandchildren."

The two elderly people stood smiling in front of the bed, looking at Yang Lijun. "Not bad, her complexion is rosy, she hasn't suffered."

"Yes, First Madam, Third Madam, this child is quite considerate of me. He came out in just over two hours. I really didn't suffer."

"That's good, that's good. He's a lucky boy who knows how to care for his mother."

At this moment, the nanny picked up the child and handed him to Hu Aifen.

Hu Aifen took care of Zhenye and the others from the moment they were born, and she was even closer to them than to her own grandchildren. So when she saw Zhang Ruiyang in his swaddling clothes, her eyes welled up with tears.

"It's so similar, it's really so similar, exactly like Zhenye when he was a child."

Seeing that Hu Aifen was too excited, Zhang Hongmei was worried about her health, so she immediately came over and said, "Auntie, there are photos of Zhenye and the others when they were just born in the living room. They look exactly the same."

Li Cuihua also came over and reached out to take the child, but Hu Aifen wouldn't let go. There was nothing she could do but watch.

“When I met Zhenye and the others, they were both one year old, but you could still tell from their features that the child looked like Zhenye.”

Li Cuihua turned around and looked at Yang Lijun with a smile, "Lijun, don't be sad. Your son doesn't look like you. But if he has a daughter who looks like you, she will definitely be beautiful."

Yang Lijun chuckled. "Third Aunt, I'm not jealous. It's better if he looks like his father. That's what makes him handsome. If I really have a daughter in the future, I hope she looks like her father. I know my own limitations. I'm not as good-looking as Zhenye."

Li Cuihua glared at Yang Lijun with a smile and said, "Nonsense, you're pretty."

Zhang Ruiyang, nestled in Hu Aifen's arms, smacked his lips, making Hu Aifen love him to bits.

"Lijun, is your milk good?"

"Big breasts, they look alright now, they should be enough for him to eat."

“That’s good. Back then, your mother-in-law had to feed Zhenye and the other three children at the same time, and her milk supply wasn’t enough. As long as your milk supply is enough for him, that’s fine. I felt sorry for Zhenye and the other three children, but there was no other way, so we had to introduce formula after they were three months old. You’ll only feed Ruiyang, but you must make sure my great-grandson has enough to eat.”

Yang Lijun nodded quickly. "Madam, I know."

Zhang Hongmei sighed inwardly. The old woman hadn't expected that Lijun and the others still had to go to school, so how could they have time to feed the children all day?

"Sister-in-law, let me hold Ruiyang." Li Cuihua couldn't resist any longer and started to let go.

Hu Aifen reluctantly handed it over to Li Cuihua. "Cuihua, I'm moving back. Even if I can't do anything, I can still see my great-grandson every day."

Zhang Hongmei was overjoyed to hear this. "Auntie, that's wonderful! Don't go back today."

Li Cuihua was so envious, but she couldn't do it herself. Her whole family was waiting for her to eat. "I can't stay here all the time, but I can come over every day. Maocai drives me here in the morning and I go back in the afternoon, so I can see my children every day."

“That works too.” Hu Aifen also thought Li Cuihua’s idea was quite good.

But Zhang Hongmei didn't think so. "Third Aunt, I send someone to pick you and Third Uncle up and drop you off every day. You're too old to ride a bike."

The little guy squirmed in Li Cuihua's arms, and the nanny immediately came over. "The child probably peed, let me wash and change him."

Li Cuihua handed the child to the nanny, and the two elderly people watched as the nanny efficiently cleaned up the child before they felt relieved.

They are all women who have given birth to several children, so of course they can tell whether someone is skilled or not.

The two elderly people then told Yang Lijun to rest more and not to sit for too long before leaving.

When they entered Tang Feiyan's room, the child had just finished eating and hadn't yet gotten down from his mother's arms.

Tang Feiyan greeted the four women who entered immediately, "First wife, third wife, Aunt Wang, and mother."

"Has the child finished eating?"

"Yes, I just finished eating. I was just about to put it down."

Song Yiqi quickly greeted them, as there were two elders among them.

Li Cuihua took the child in her arms. "Hehe, this child's chin and mouth look like his mother's. Feiyan's suffering wasn't in vain; she's better than your sister-in-law."

Tang Feiyan was delighted to hear this, knowing that her sister-in-law had given birth to a nephew, though she had never seen him. Hearing the old woman's words, she was certain the child didn't resemble her sister-in-law.

"Feiyan, has Ruifeng told you the child's name?" Zhang Hongmei asked her second daughter-in-law.

“I told him, and he said his name is Zhang Hecheng. I think it’s a good name.”

"I'm glad you like it."

"Don't always sit or lie down, you need to be more careful," Hu Aifen instructed Tang Feiyan. The child was still young, so she needed to be reminded more often.

Song Yiqi saw the four people out, then went back inside to be with her daughter.

Upon entering Qin Shuang's room, Zhang Weiyu was not there either.

Hu Aifen picked up the baby and looked at the chubby little boy. She was overjoyed. This was Jingze's grandson, her great-grandson.

"Grandma, Third Grandma, please sit down." Qin Shuang hurriedly invited the two elderly people to sit down, worried that they were too old to stand for long.

Wang Ying watched from the side, clicking her tongue in amazement. "This is a carbon copy of Wei Yu. Hongmei, this child looks just like you. If it were a daughter, she would definitely be the most beautiful girl."

In the future, Wei Yu and his wife will have to guard against someone abducting their daughter every day. Luckily, it's a boy; he can prey on other people's daughters later.
