Han Junche wanted to solve the problem once and for all, and the best way was to go with the flow.
But Chi Xia is a perfectionist when it comes to relationships. If she knew about this and had to watch it happen, she definitely wouldn't be able to accept it.
Han Junche felt his reputation had been tarnished and was afraid that Chi Xia would leave him if she found out, which is why he sent her away and made her swear an oath.

She and the Jia family father and daughter had barely even had a direct conflict, yet they were already trying to kill her. This shows that their hearts, livers, spleens, lungs, and kidneys were utterly corrupt. It was simply impossible for them to repent and forgive and forget.
Chi Xia dislikes leaving herself with future troubles, especially these kinds of irreconcilable ones.
However, this is only one of the reasons. The most important reason is that the Jia family father and daughter crossed her bottom line.
If it were her, she might have spared them because they had saved Han Junche, after all, a life for a life. But they should never have killed Liu Daniu and the others for their own selfish desires!
