Normally, Qin Zhao would never make such a basic mistake.
But now he is controlled by the virus, and his whole body is screaming for one word: blood!
The outbreak of the virus came quickly and suddenly. With his remaining rationality, he restrained himself and did not suck the blood from Little Gray. He knocked Little Gray unconscious and ran away.
He was still rational and knew that if he took off directly from the camp and was seen by someone, he wouldn't be able to explain himself.
So he stumbled out of the camp, but unexpectedly bumped into the guy lines of Han Junche's tent.
Although the noise was very small, Qin Zhao still noticed it. He suddenly stopped but dared not look back, because he knew that his eyes were frighteningly red even in the darkness of night.
He paused for a few seconds, and seeing no movement from inside the tent, he continued walking forward and left the camp.
However, he didn't know that he hadn't gone far when Han Junche quietly got up from inside the tent.
In fact, Han Junche opened his eyes as soon as the windbreak rope was touched, since they hadn't arranged for anyone to keep watch at night and relied on the vigilance of the few people on the outside.
But as soon as he opened his eyes, he noticed that the person who had tripped over the rope had stopped.
Except when facing Chi Xia, Han Junche's intelligence is generally at a high level.
If the person doesn't stop, he might just assume that the person wasn't paying attention and was simply getting up in the middle of the night.
But the fact that this person stopped proves that the person who tripped over the windbreak rope is unusual, at the very least worried about disturbing him, so Han Junche didn't move.
After the person had been gone for a while, Han Junche quickly got up and followed quietly.
Han Junche is the son of General Han Zheng. Although Han Junche thinks he is not a good father, he still learned a lot from Han Zheng during their limited time together, such as how to follow someone.
Under the cover of night, and with the tracking skills he had specially learned, Han Junche quickly spotted the stumbling figure ahead. When the figure took to the air and headed into the Qinling Mountains, Han Junche finally confirmed that the person was Qin Zhao.
He looked up in the direction where Qin Zhao had disappeared, frowned, and followed him.
He wasn't worried that Qin Zhao would do anything detrimental to everyone; he just felt that Qin Zhao was acting strangely and followed him on his own.
But he never expected that he would see such a scene.
Qin Zhao's virus infection is getting more and more severe. He must find the blood of a living creature before he completely loses his mind in order to calm down and return to normal.
After leaving the camp, he disregarded everything else, used his supernatural abilities to take to the air, and entered the Qinling Mountains.
He could have ventured deep into the Qinling Mountains to capture a living creature, but the virus had spread so quickly and rapidly that leaving the camp had already taken a considerable amount of time. He could only find a living creature nearby to suck its blood.
Qin Zhao was lucky; he encountered a fox that came out to hunt for food at night at the foot of the mountain.
Normally, Qin Zhao is very picky, but now he has lowered his requirements to the bare minimum. As long as it is a living creature, it will do. Not to mention foxes, even snakes and rats are good medicine to calm the virus churning in his body.
So after landing, as soon as I stretched out my hand, the fox stood frozen in place, as if it had been immobilized by something.
It stared in terror at Qin Zhao as he approached, his eyes bloodshot. Its instinct was to run away, but its usually agile and powerful limbs felt as if they were weighed down by hundreds of pounds of lead. It couldn't even lift itself, let alone run away.
In fact, this is the true nature of Qin Zhao's second superpower, gravity.
