With one sentence, Han Zheng was silenced from any further persuasion. He looked at Han Junche in silence for a long time, then sighed, "Do as you say."
Han Junche asked Qin Zhao about the current situation and learned that, as he had expected, after the two missiles were launched, the zombies behind them had begun to disperse and move. He immediately nodded and said, "Perfect, this gives us the possibility of intercepting and destroying them."
Qin Zhao looked at him and said, "You don't need to go. Stay here and command. Chi Xia and I will take the men."
"I'm fine," Han Junche said calmly. "Let's go."
Qin Zhao looked at Chi Xia, hoping she could persuade Han Junche, but Chi Xia kept a cold face and a heavy expression, seemingly not paying attention at all. He could only sigh and say, "Let's go."
Soon, the group was ready to go.
Han Junche knew that Chi Xia might be angry and wanted to have a good talk with her, so he sat alone with her in the car.
As Chi Xia drove away from the Sirius Base, Han Junche cautiously asked, "Wife, did I do something wrong?"
Chi Xia replied coldly, "No."
"Then why have you been ignoring me?" Han Junche sat up straight and leaned his head over: "Wife, don't be angry, okay? I promise I'll be more careful next time."
Chi Xia glanced at him, her eyes cold: "Do you even believe what you're saying?"
Han Junche choked on his words and touched his nose: "I'll try my best."
"Heh." Chi Xia sneered and said nothing more.
Silence fell over the car; the atmosphere was heavy.
After a long while, Chi Xia slowly spoke up: "A-Che, can we ignore all this? Can we find a place to live in seclusion?"
Upon hearing this, Han Junche realized he had frightened her this time, and quickly tried to appease her by promising again, "I swear, I will definitely act within my capabilities in the future."
"That's not the reason."
Chi Xia sighed and laid out her thoughts to him clearly: "It's not hard to see from the attitude of those people at the Sirius Base that you've given so much, but not everyone appreciates it."
"Just as General Han said, if aliens really have been monitoring us all along, then this leaflet might just provoke them. Their purpose in using us as guinea pigs is definitely not out of boredom, but to find a way to control the virus. If the news that you are immune to the virus gets out, can you guarantee that those people won't hand you over in order to survive?"

He wanted to reach out to comfort her, but Chi Xia had already looked away.
