A faint blue light began to spread from the depression and outwards until the entire translator was covered by the light. Finally, Chi Xia used her cheat code to see the words: "Translator activated."
Director Xin was extremely excited, and even Chi Xia and Han Junche showed a hint of excitement on their faces.
Director Xin now regards Chi Xia as a guiding light, and looking at her hopefully, he asked, "What should we do next?"
Chi Xia carefully placed the blood bag back into the box she had been holding.
Then, using the cheat code, look at the button on the translator.
As expected, the translator quickly provided other clues after activation, with four buttons: speech recognition, text recognition, interactive speech translation, and interactive text translation.
Chi Xia put on gloves and pressed the voice recognition button.
Then he said into the translator, "Hello, this is Blue Star, we are Blue Star people."
After she finished speaking, the translator started making a series of chattering sounds.
Director Xin was bewildered after hearing this. Just as he was about to ask a question, he saw Chi Xia press another button.
Then she repeated what she had just said, and then there was another burst of chatter, but this chatter was clearly different from the previous one.
Chi Xia turned to Director Xin and said, "It should be able to translate now. Let's activate the mainframe and see!"
"Oh, right!" Director Xin now follows Chi Xia's orders exactly like a command. After hearing Chi Xia's instructions, he suddenly understood and hurriedly ran over to squeeze out a little blood from the syringe and drip it into the low-lying area.
Then, something astonishing happened.
The entire spaceship's control panel and screens seemed to come alive. As the blood in the depressions was absorbed, streaks of blue light began to spread outwards from the low-lying areas.
The light spread very quickly, like electricity in an animated film, and soon swept across the entire center console and screen.
Then, the center console and screen lit up.
The screen wasn't what Director Xin had imagined, displaying various images or a computer monitor-like interface. Instead, it was like a camera projecting the outside scene onto the screen.
The center console was activated, displaying various control buttons, some of which were flashing red, presumably indicating an alarm.
Immediately afterwards, a 3D projection of an alien appeared between the center console and the screen. Although it was a virtual image, it was displayed very clearly, and even the skin could be seen clearly. It was somewhat like a 3D projection of Earth, but clearer and more colorful.
If you didn't know it was a projection, you would definitely mistake it for a miniature alien standing between the control panel and the screen.
The projection seemed to have intelligence; it first opened its eyes, looked at Chi Xia, Han Junche, and Director Xin in front of it, and then rattled off a bunch of things.
Director Xin was worried about not understanding when the translator beeped: "Are you from Earth? Where is my master? Where did you take him?"
Director Xin was both surprised and delighted, and quickly asked, "Are you the main brain of this spaceship?"
With the help of the translator, the mainframe and Director Xin began to communicate without any obstacles: "Yes, that's me. You haven't answered my question yet."
Director Xin was at a loss for words when asked the question by the mainframe, because the mainframe's owner was obviously the dead alien, and he was worried that if he gave the wrong answer, the mainframe would shut down again.
Chi Xia didn't know what to do either, so she turned her gaze to Han Junche.
Han Junche was much calmer than Chi Xia and Director Xin. He stepped forward, stood in front of the mainframe, and said to it, "He is no longer your master. From the beginning of reality, I am your master!"
