Li Han is a special case; his backpack is almost entirely filled with first-aid supplies.
Chi Xia had a signal flare and a walkie-talkie in her backpack. She was wearing headphones. At first, the teams were chatting and laughing, but as they started to enter the city, the walkie-talkie suddenly fell silent.
There were only occasional reports of safety and progress.
Perhaps because the distance was getting farther and farther, gradually no more sound came from the walkie-talkie.
Chi Xia simply took off her headphones and put the walkie-talkie in the side pocket of her backpack.
The five men found a secluded, low-lying spot and lay down to hide, keeping their eyes on the direction of the city.
Time passed slowly, but instead of a signal flare, Chi Xia and her group received a car.
A cool and awesome armored vehicle!
As soon as the vehicle came into view, Li Han cursed, "Holy crap! A Saber-toothed Tiger armored vehicle!"
Liu Daniu's eyes widened as he stared intently at the car, watching it get closer and closer: "What is a Sabretooth? I just think that car is awesome. Brother Li, tell me quickly, what is this car?"
"It's a domestically produced Saber-toothed Tiger armored vehicle. It's a military vehicle, used by the army, armed police, public security, border defense and other departments before the apocalypse to carry out tasks such as counter-terrorism and stability maintenance, border patrol, drug enforcement and arrest."
Li Han lowered his voice and said, "This car is made of bulletproof material on all six sides, and it has an overlapping bulletproof structure design. Even if we drove this car in, it wouldn’t be able to withstand the constant attacks from so many zombies. As they were talking, the armored vehicle, kicking up dust, stopped not far from where they were hiding.
The car door opened, and Liu Daniu counted five men. Then, five men got out of the car, all lean and strong, with short, flat haircuts, looking cool and handsome.
Just look at those bulging, strong muscles, and you'll know they're not to be trifled with.
They were dressed in matching short-sleeved shirts and jeans, with classic aviator sunglasses. Not only were Chi Xia and Zhang Xin drooling, but even Liu Daniu almost drooled.
He lowered his voice and said, "Damn, that's a real man!"
After the five men got out of the car, they started taking out their equipment. Chi Xia looked at them and saw that each of them carried at least five or six guns.
They brought no water or food, only various weapons and equipment.
Li Han and Liu Daniu were drooling as they watched. Just when they thought there were only five people in the group, another person got off the bus.
Just one glance at that person and Chi Xia froze instantly!
