Zheng Zemin laughed heartily, pulled her close, and made her sit on his lap.
This scene is simply unbearable to look at.
Chi Xia couldn't help but find Ye Wenxin's expression amusing.
Chi Xia knew how proud Ye Wenxin used to be. Back in high school, a handsome boy with excellent grades but a poor family confessed his feelings to her. Not only did she reject him, she also publicly humiliated him in front of everyone.
He even occasionally tells this as a joke to others.
The boy was so badly affected that he had to transfer schools.

Chi Xia chuckled and said to Master Zhuo, "Everyone, please vote. I have no objections."

After Chi Xia left, Zhang Xin and the others followed suit.
As soon as they stepped out of the council hall, Liu Daniu couldn't help but ask, "You guys say Captain Zheng is as ugly as a baboon, yet he has women wanting him, and two of them at that. I'm so handsome, yet I don't even have a woman. Why is that?"
Chi Xia patted his shoulder: "Because you are a person, flies don't like you."
After saying that, Chi Xia smiled, shook her head, and left.
Watching her retreating figure, Liu Daniu asked Li Han beside him, "What does Sister Chi mean by that?"
"Don't you understand?" Li Han smiled. "What Sister Chi means is that our Captain Zheng is either a rotten egg or a pile of shit, which is why he attracts flies, while we handsome young men only attract good girls."
Liu Daniu pondered Chi Xia's words carefully and immediately smiled. He walked forward side by side with Li Han, laughing as he said, "Tell me, how come our Sister Chi is so good at talking? Why can't I?"
Li Han rolled his eyes at him: "So Sister Chi is Sister Chi, and you can only be Da Niu."
