Chi Xia and Han Junche stood quietly outside the ward, watching the busy medical staff coming and going.
After an unknown amount of time, Han Junche suddenly spoke softly, "Do you know? He loves you."
Chi Xia was stunned for a moment upon hearing this, then turned to meet Han Junche's gaze and said in a hoarse voice, "What do you mean?"
"It doesn't mean anything." Han Junche took a deep breath: "There are some things he can't say right now, and he may not want to say them, so I'm just saying them for him."
Chi Xia withdrew her gaze from his face and looked towards the ward, saying, "Since he doesn't want to talk about it, you don't need to presume to do it for him. Chunli's words expressed the sentiments of everyone present, so no one stopped her.
