Mr. Mei frowned, not answering Han Junche's question directly, but instead said, "Yang Hong's ability is very strange. He can receive and sense signals. After the apocalypse, the magnetic field of Blue Star was disordered, all satellites malfunctioned, and all communications on Blue Star were interrupted."
"But not long ago, Yang Hong sensed the satellite recovering and signs of signal restoration on Earth. This wouldn't have been anything special, but amidst the chaotic and erratic signals, Yang Hong sensed that other countries were restoring communications."
"As you should know, although the Blue Star is supposed to be integrated, there is still competition and even antagonism between countries. Every country has spies, so we are generally aware of their communication methods. However, the signal that Yang Hong sensed does not belong to any country's original signal."
"It is too complex, and even though it is only a small part of the routine interrogation, it has given us enough to be vigilant."
Mr. Mei's eyes darkened: "We discussed this for a long time and agreed that while the virus might be possible to create, no country or organization on the entire planet has the capability to create such a virus, let alone interfere with the planet's magnetic field or even cause all the satellites to malfunction."
Chi Xia understood.
Mr. Mei and his team truly lived up to their reputation as people who had a grasp of the entire planet's movements before the apocalypse. Even though they hadn't found alien corpses or detected viruses in alien blood like the others, they still managed to make a rough judgment from a very small and complex signal.
Mr. Mei continued, "We have alien spaceships in our possession, and with all the signs, we can almost conclude that this apocalypse is not a natural disaster or divine retribution, but rather something that has been maliciously manipulated."
"Moreover, some foreign powers have already begun to cooperate with aliens, so we can only save ourselves."
Han Junche looked at Mr. Mei and said, "You no longer trust the living, so you're inclined to let those who survived the virus lead the empire, is that right?"
Mr. Mei sighed: "There's nothing we can do about it. We have almost irreconcilable conflicts. Since we can't cooperate, one side has to take the lead. That's why we decided to launch an attack."
At this point, he looked at Han Junche and Chi Xia, his eyes full of appreciation: "Just at this moment, you appeared, scattering flyers all over the ground and providing a complete chain of evidence. However, it's easier said than done to cooperate, so I deliberately tested you out."
"Fortunately, you did not let us down."
Seeing the appreciation in Mr. Mei's eyes, Han Junche pondered for a moment and said, "Mr. Mei, there is something I want to be honest with you about."
When he said this, Qin Zhao, Lin Yi, and Xu Fan were all stunned, wondering what he was going to confess.
But Chi Xia already knew what he wanted to say, and for a moment she didn't know whether she should stop him.
Although she did not doubt Mr. Mei's character and the magnanimity of the people around him, she was still vaguely worried that if this matter were to be revealed, it would have uncontrollable consequences in the future.
What Han Junche wanted to be honest about was what kind of inhibitor he had brought, since the inhibitor had not yet been produced.
But this statement will inevitably lead to the question of his immunity to the virus.
He had promised Chi Xia that he would not let anyone else know.
So after saying that, he turned to look at Chi Xia, his eyes searching for an answer.
