Bang!
Bang!
A series of muffled explosions rang out, shaking the ground throughout the base. Even those driving were jolted by the shaking.
coax!
The ground began to collapse.
Everyone glanced at the collapse not far away, then pressed down hard on the accelerator.
As the car sped up, the collapsed area grew larger and larger, and seemed to be getting closer together.
Fortunately, the armory was made of explosion-proof material, so even if it collapsed, it couldn't keep up with the speed at which the car drove away. When everyone had completely driven away from the military base, they looked back and saw that the center of the base had collapsed, with the towering buildings and tents collapsing and raising clouds of dust.
Everyone watched quietly, silently relieved.
Because they were fleeing for their lives, they only drove two cars out. When they arrived at the place where they had parked earlier, everyone got out of the cars.
Zhuo Fang patted his chest, still shaken: "It was absolutely thrilling! When I'm old, I'll finally have something to brag about to my children and grandchildren."
Xu Fan looked at him and smiled slightly: "First of all, you need to find a wife."
Zhuo's expression froze, then he glared at him: "Just watch, I'll definitely find it before you do!"
Xu Fan raised an eyebrow at him but didn't say anything.
The sun had begun to set in the west, like an egg yolk hanging in the west, and the evening glow painted the sky, giving the earth a warm golden-red hue.
Han Junche glanced at his watch and said, "Before the sun sets, let's find a campsite to rest and discuss what's next."
Originally there were three vehicles, but with the two military vehicles that came out today, they now have five vehicles. The group divided the vehicles among themselves, got into their cars, and left.
Before the sun completely disappeared below the horizon, the group finally found a suitable place to set up camp.
After the tents were set up, we finished eating, and everything was tidied up, the moon hung on the willow branches.
The group lit a campfire in the center of the camp, sat around it, and began to discuss their future plans.
The site originally chosen for the base is now completely out of the question. Liu Daniu lamented, "So many missiles, just like that, gone."
“Actually, those missiles wouldn’t have been of much use to us,” Li Han explained. “They were all small missiles, and the zombies had already destroyed most of them, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to withstand the first explosion.”
Liu Daniu was confused: "Is that so?"
"Yes." Han Junche gave an affirmative answer: "Even if those small missiles were not destroyed, they would still need missile vehicles to launch them, so there is no need to regret it. As for the helicopters, they are useless to us now."
After hearing what Han Junche and Li Han said, Liu Daniu's regrets faded.
Chi Xia looked at him and said, "Once our base is established and gradually grows stronger, all of these things will come together. Right now, the most important thing is where we should establish our base."
Han Junche suddenly turned to look at Qin Zhao: "What are your thoughts?"
Qin Zhao had been staring blankly at the flickering flames, not participating in their discussion. He was suddenly called out by Han Junche, which brought him back to his senses. He pointed to himself and asked, "Are you asking me?"
Han Junche nodded: "Yes, what are your thoughts?"
Qin Zhao thought for a moment and said, "Actually, I think there are three conditions for establishing a base. First, there needs to be a certain foundation. This foundation doesn't necessarily have to be a military base; a large, complete community would be fine. Second, there needs to be people."
