They wouldn't even let us call them by their names anymore.
Yin Wanrou was stunned for a moment, and then realized that the pain she was suffering did not come from others, but from the Han brother in front of her who was looking at her with disgust and cold eyes.
Han Junche, however, no longer wanted to talk to her.
His gaze swept past Yin Wanrou's face and went straight to Yin Xiangdong, saying, "Uncle Yin."
Yin Xiangdong smiled slightly at him: "Little Han is here, come in and sit down."
Han Junche stepped into the house and sat down on the sofa with him.
Yin Xiangdong poured him a cup of tea and spoke first, "Xiao Han, you've already arranged where we'll be staying this time, haven't you?"
Han Junche was slightly taken aback, then nodded: "Uncle Yin is very perceptive. I have indeed made arrangements for Uncle Yin and your daughter's whereabouts."
Yin Xiangdong smiled slightly: "Wanrou and I have caused you trouble."
"Where are you going?" Yin Wanrou rushed over and shouted, "I'm not going anywhere! I'm right here! I'll die here!"
Han Junche frowned immediately. He didn't turn to look at Yin Wanrou, but instead looked at Yin Xiangdong with cold eyes.
Yin Xiangdong sighed: "Wanrou, how long are you going to keep acting like this? You're twenty years old now, not that little girl who could only stay in the hospital and wallow in self-pity. Don't you think you've caused enough trouble for others? Don't you think you've lost enough face?!"
Because of her illness, Yin Wanrou had always been pampered by Yin Xiangdong, who had never spoken a harsh word to her, let alone scolded her so severely.
She looked at Yin Xiangdong in disbelief, and tears instantly streamed down her face.
Yin Xiangdong felt a pang of pity, but he had no choice but to explain to her: "Your mother passed away early, and you fell ill. To take care of your feelings, I have spoiled and indulged you for so many years. I thought that once you grew up and recovered, you would become sensible. But you haven't. You only care about yourself and never think about anyone else."
At this point, Yin Xiangdong smiled bitterly: "It's my fault for not teaching you well. For so many years, I've given you whatever you wanted, even if it was something made up out of thin air, I would still do what you wanted. If you didn't want me to get married, I wouldn't get married. If you liked Xiao Han, I would go and beg him. Now it's the apocalypse, I can no longer satisfy your unreasonable demands. If you insist on doing things your way, then I can't control you anymore."
Yin Wanrou was shocked. She never expected that her father, who had always doted on and indulged her, would say that he would abandon her.
Yin Xiangdong ignored her expression and said to Han Junche, "I can understand what you did. To be honest, you've already gone this far because of your mother. I apologize to you and Miss Chi on behalf of Wanrou."
"Uncle Yin, you're too kind," Han Junche said. "I've already spoken with the Nine Lives Base. Uncle Yin and your daughter can go there under the pretext of delivering supplies. They will take good care of you."
Yin Xiangdong smiled and said, "You really do things meticulously. You must have already planned it out when you set the date a month ago."
Han Junche didn't hide anything from him and immediately nodded in agreement: "Uncle Yin's status is too much of a waste to be a team member in the Starfire Alliance. Why not be the general manager of the Nine Lives Base?"
"You're right to say that." Yin Xiangdong looked at him with loving eyes: "To be honest, it's because of Wanrou and me that you're in a difficult position. Your arrangement not only fulfills our past friendship but also saves us trouble. It's a win-win situation. You're a promising young man. If your mother saw you like this now, she would be very proud of you."
