Chapter 44 Hospital

The truth was indeed not much different from what Wanwan had imagined. This butterfly from another world had changed a lot of the plot in the original book.

Take tonight for example. The plot of the hero and heroine in the original book loving each other somehow turned into the hero and another protagonist in the educated youth point.

"Captain, Song Zhiqing has already gone to the brigade to drive the car. He asked me to come back and ask if you can get a quilt and a bundle of plastic sheeting."

Wang Chun hurried back to the educated youth site and spoke hurriedly before he could even catch his breath.

"Okay, I understand. Yanzhi, go to your uncle's house and tell your aunt about this. Your aunt will give it to you."

"Okay, uncle, I'll go right away."

The night's rescue mission has almost been completed. Many educated youth have felt sleepy after the thrilling experience just now.

Although there were still a lot of luggage buried under the rubble and everyone was very anxious, it was now dark at night and raining heavily, so it was really not a good idea to continue wasting manpower on the search.

"Captain, since there's nothing else to do now, why don't we go back first?"

Several educated youths pushed each other around, and finally the one with the most seniority said this to the team leader.

Captain Jiang looked at the desolate scenery around him and thought for a while.

"Alright then, you guys go back and rest first. Judging from the scene, it looks like there will be another big battle tomorrow!"

The captain said sadly

Just as the educated youth were about to walk out of the gate of the educated youth center, a cry of surprise was heard.

"Xiyue, Xiyue," Song Zhouyan looked at the unconscious woman in front of him, feeling panic in his heart.

I was just talking to him nicely, talking about poetry and songs to the philosophy of life, and in the blink of an eye, why did Xiyue faint?

They encouraged each other to get through that dark time, and their relationship progressed by leaps and bounds.

"Help come quickly, someone has fainted, help come quickly!" Song Zhouyan shouted loudly. I don't think he shouted so hard when he called for help just now.

The educated youths paused as they were leaving. Has something happened to someone again?

"Come quickly, come quickly, Xiyue Zhiqing has fainted, his face is pale, and he doesn't feel well."

This was explained by the fastest female educated youth. As for Song Zhouyan, his face was pale, his hands and feet were weak, and he couldn't even stand up straight.

"She suddenly fainted and lay motionless."

Song Zhouyan's face was pale, and he murmured as if he had no consciousness at all.

Seeing that Song Zhouyan looked like he was in a state of panic, the educated youths quickly turned to Captain Jiang, who was not far away, for help.

"Captain, Xiyue Zhiqing has also fainted. He should be sent to the hospital. His condition doesn't look good."

An educated youth who had basic medical knowledge answered.

"Quick, a male comrade, come out and go to the village entrance to look for Song Zhouxing, the educated youth. We should still be able to get to the commune by now."

Captain Jiang looked at the time. Time was a bit tight, but if he hurried a little, he should be able to make it.

When Song Zhouyan heard this, he immediately wanted to pick up Xiyue and rush to the door, but he didn't expect that as soon as he started, his sore legs and feet showed that he could not bear this heavy responsibility.

Under the shocked and disdainful gazes of the crowd, Song Zhouyan prostrated himself on the ground, well, in a prostrate manner.

"Song Zhiqing, if you can't do it, then don't make trouble. I just said that time is very tight. Please come out with someone else."

Captain Jiang looked at the chaotic scene in front of him, then at the rapidly ticking time on his wrist, and said impatiently.

Finally, an enthusiastic educated youth who could bear the weight of Xiyue appeared in the crowd. Before leaving, this educated youth shook Xiyue's body, and then seemed to be indifferent but caught her steadily.

Other educated youth might not feel anything, but Song Zhouyan felt that his cheeks might have turned red.

Is this a provocation to him? Song Zhouyan gritted his teeth secretly.

Finally, with the help of this enthusiastic educated youth, the unconscious Xiyue was finally carried onto the tractor just one second before Song Zhouxing set off.

It was a rainy day, the night was dark and there was some fog, which made the view in front of the tractor not very clear.

If he encountered such a situation under normal circumstances, Song Zhouxing would definitely slow down and play it safe.

But today there were two lives tied to his tractor, so the always reliable Song Zhouxing drove the tractor at the speed of a train.

This bumpy road is something I never want to recall.

Wang Chun, the accompanying educated youth sitting in the back car, ran to the grass on the side and vomited miserably in the dark as soon as Song Zhouxing stopped the car.

As for the two patients in the car, no changes have been seen for the time being, except that their faces seem to be paler.

"Doctor, doctor, help." Wang Chun shouted while running.

Seeing his anxious look, people who didn’t know him would think his wife was about to give birth!

As for Song Zhouxing, what can I say? He seemed quite nonchalant. The doctors and nurses' pace was getting faster and faster, but he was the only one who kept to his original pace.

Looking at the still anxious family member in front of him, the doctor suspected that his previous auscultation was wrong. With an attitude of responsibility towards the patient, Dr. Liu put the stethoscope on his ear again.

After a long auscultation and constant verification, Dr. Liu gave Wang Chun a look that said, "Are you kidding me?" "What's wrong? Is Song Zhiqing suffering from some terminal illness?"

Wang Chun looked at the doctor's unhappy expression, and his heart was filled with panic. As if to echo his thoughts, his body began to tremble non-stop.

"Don't worry, the patient is in good health and has no disease. It's just that your hasty behavior just now made me feel a little strange." Doctor Liu's expression seemed a little strange, as if he was embarrassed to speak.
