After Liu Qing obtained custody of Jin Ziduo from her sister, she immediately dialed her lawyer's number.
Only after the agreement was signed and notarized in person could Liu Qing feel at ease.
It's just that at this time, it's a bit difficult to find a lawyer who is available on call.
Drafting agreements takes time.
But Liu Qing didn't think so. She called the bank where she had her savings deposits—
In banking operations, there is a specialized department called the Private Banking Department.
As long as your deposit is a certain amount, this business department can do anything you can imagine, and there's nothing they can't do.
Taking care of children and matchmaking salons are just the tip of the iceberg. More precise services include divorce lawyer services, property planning analysis and investment, and other projects involving wealth management.
That's a specialty of banks.
To retain these high-net-worth savings clients, they take care of everything from their children starting kindergarten to college entrance exams and internships.
What? You're not doing well in school?
No problem, check out Stanford's psychology and East Asian studies programs.
Everything is arranged for you, from cradle to coffin.
Liu Qing only realized this after reaching this social class—
Money really can buy you anything.
Not to mention a major client suddenly hiring a lawyer.
After Liu Qing made the call, the bank responded immediately.
Looking at her watch, it was exactly seven o'clock in the evening. Liu Qing didn't even bother with dinner and immediately grabbed her bag to head out the door.
For professional lawyers, templates and such are memorized, so drafting an agreement is a piece of cake.
"Sis, I can't have dinner with you." Liu Qing said after hanging up the phone, "The agreement needs to be printed. I'll come back to you after I've printed it with the lawyer."
"Remember to answer the phone. Call me if you need anything additional."
Liu Kou and Jin's father are no longer married.
Because Zhang Honghua has not been publicly identified, the property division and the agreement on her leaving with nothing have not yet been signed.
In fact, Mr. Kim didn't have many assets.
Even if he had become a high-ranking official, without Liu Kou's support, Jin's father would only have a house provided by his work unit and a small amount of savings.
We still have a long way to go before we achieve our current quality of life.
But men always have some sense of pride.
Liu Kou never mentioned money in front of her husband, to protect his self-esteem.
Mr. Jin didn't use any of her money.
So they always split the bill equally, with neither owing the other anything.
Furthermore, to be honest, Liu Kou also used her family's power.
So to some extent, one has power and the other has money.
They were truly a perfect match.
Liu Qing took the notes written by Liu Kou and went out.
As I was going downstairs, I ran into Mr. Jin, who was returning home.
Even if Liu Qing was unwilling, he had to stand at attention and salute, "Greetings, Commander."
"Alright, alright, don't do this at home." Mr. Jin looked at her with a smile. "Where are you going so late?"
"Didn't you say you were staying tonight?"
Just that one sentence stirred something in Liu Qing's heart—
How did Kim's father find out about things at home while he was away?
With this explanation, there is only one possibility.
Someone in his family informed him of the situation.
Liu Qing didn't say much, only saying, "I have some work to attend to, I'll be back in a bit."
Mr. Jin had no suspicions and happily told the guard to bring the car over.
After watching Liu Qing leave, Jin's father turned around and went upstairs to see his wife.
She was pushed back by her son before she even reached the door.
Jinzi spread her arms out, one on each side of the door frame, like a mother hen protecting her chicks, blocking the entrance.
"You are not allowed to go in."
Mr. Jin was patient with his son, so he squatted down and asked him, "Why won't you let Dad in?"
No one paid him any attention, and the little boy just kept pushing the adults away.
This amount of force is like a mayfly trying to shake a giant tree—it's completely ineffective.
Even when his son tried to cause trouble, the father didn't care.
She squatted down and picked up Jinzi Duo, exclaiming, "Oh my, my son has grown up."
While holding the child, I tickled his armpits, trying to make him laugh.
Unfortunately, even a little more gold wouldn't give me any face.
With a cold expression, he was carried into the study by his father.
Mr. Jin put his arm around his son and let him sit on his lap, while he tried to tell his son a story using a globe.
I searched and searched, but I couldn't find the wooden globe that my friend had given me.
I did see warship models that had been completely dismantled.
Model parts were scattered everywhere, on the table and the floor.
At this, Mr. Jin became serious. "Ziduo, what do you think is going on?"
"Is this how you treat the toys your dad bought you?"
"Quick, pick it up!"
Jin's father put his son on the ground and pushed him.
The little boy remained stubbornly standing there, motionless.
“I’ll say it again, there’s too much gold.” Jin’s father was truly angry. “Military orders are absolute, I never repeat myself.”
"One, two, three." A low, oppressive voice echoed in his ears as the man stood up and raised his hand.
"Does it mean you won't realize your mistake if I don't hit you?"
"No." Jin Ziduo suddenly raised her small head, her dark eyes fixed on the man. "You made a mistake too."
What gives you the right to say that about me?
When Jin's father heard that his son was finally willing to answer, he lowered his hand.
"Oh? Where did I go wrong? Tell me."
This time, there was another long silence.
The man's tone was arrogant and conceited, and even Jinzi couldn't bring himself to expose the adult's filth.
He had promised his mother that he wouldn't tell anyone.
