Chapter 22 Gift Giving

But they're art students, they have their own aesthetic sense, so they have trouble choosing clothes. They definitely won't like ordinary brands, and anything more high-end would be beyond their budget.

Social obligations are such a hassle; Sun Lifang never thought about this in her previous life.

I've been going back and forth for ages, and I'm leaving the day after tomorrow, but I still haven't bought a gift.

"How about giving him an accessory?" Zhou Yunshi suggested.

"You thought of that too?" Sun Lifang turned around in surprise. She had just been thinking about the gifts she had received in her past life, and after a moment's thought, she tentatively asked, "How about a large silk scarf?"

"A towel? What towel?" Zhou Yunshi frowned. Why give a towel for a birthday? Was she confused? If she really couldn't think of anything, she'd just give a red envelope as a small gift.

“You don’t understand what women like.” Sun Lifang didn’t give him a chance to refute.

Sun Lifang got a little excited when she heard about giving this gift, and the image of a satin pattern popped into her mind.

"Alright, now you can sleep peacefully." Zhou Yunshi couldn't bear to interrupt her enthusiasm. He could always just give her a big red envelope later. For his sake, no one could say anything.

"Wait a minute." Sun Lifang got up, opened the bedside table, and took out a card. "Take this."

Zhou Yunshi couldn't possibly be broke. His joke just now was half-serious and half-joking. Sun Lifang saved face completely; no one dislikes being respected.

Sun Lifang didn't mention another reason.

With this card, she could rightfully take her quarterly earnings and give him pocket money.

Zhou Yunshi raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised.

He told Sun Lifang, "The money is in the card. Buy whatever you need. Don't be stingy with your appearance. Go out and socialize more often; it's good to make some friends."

Sun Lifang smiled and said that Zhou Yunshi told her to buy things and dress up so that she could look like a real rich lady.

Does buying things make you fit in? Men and women are different. Women have too many hidden agendas and too many things to compare.

She doesn't like it, nor does she want to integrate or make friends.

I don't have the same value to exchange with those people, so spending time with them is just a waste of time.

Without realizing it, Sun Lifang thought of another woman, her business partner Mrs. Tong. They lived in the same neighborhood and were always very warm and friendly when they met.

But they both knew they wouldn't consider each other friends.

What value does she have to offer Mrs. Tong?
