Chapter 131 Human-Machine Chen Yu

Work hours.

Chen Yu sat idly at the table, with no one assigning her any work. She sat at her workstation, playing on her phone out of boredom.

Huang Xiaoni sent her a message asking if she was getting used to her first day. Chen Yu replied that she had only been working for a short time.

And there's nothing to do!

Huang Xiaoni sent her a cheering emoji.

Yin Hao brought the documents to Chen Yu's desk, and Chen Yu immediately put away her phone, which felt very stealthy.

This amused Yin Hao. "You don't need to do that. Nobody cares if you're using your phone here. Take a look at this information. If you can, could you make a proposal?"

"Okay, let me see."

Chen Yu put down her phone, embarrassed, and looked at the materials in her hand. It seemed that an exhibition was about to be held.

She's good at this; she has to go to the site to scout it out. Although the information is detailed, she still has to go and see for herself.

After talking to Yin Hao, she followed the navigation to the first store.

It was a very small place, specifically for holding art exhibitions. Chen Yu thought for a moment, "Since we're in the foreign trade business, we should also incorporate some art!"

She went outside and called Huang Xiaoni.

"Why do I feel like this is different from what I was doing over there?"

"The company over there focuses more on art and the like, and we have to be exposed to it from a young age. If it weren't for the need to win them over, I wouldn't have been able to do it."

Huang Xiaoni is also stressed out. In order to win over this big client, she also has to take time out of her spare time to go to art exhibitions.

We also need to study what the first impressions of those paintings are.

Chen Yu pinched her brow with some melancholy. She really was a complete failure; she knew absolutely nothing about art.

She could only rely on her first impression to judge.

After hesitating for a while, she went to the next three venues. She felt that the first place was better. Although it was a bit small, the exterior and interior looked better.

There's nothing particularly special about the rest of the place.

After confirming everything, she returned to the company, and it was already past eleven o'clock.

When I went upstairs, there was no one there.

She paused for a moment. No, she just went out for a bit. Where did she go?!

"Why did you come back? Let's go eat."

Yin Hao came out of the office with his phone in his hand and a box containing two sandwiches.

"Oh, I didn't know I was getting off work so early."

"I guessed it. Here, have some. I can't eat anymore. You've been running around all day."

Chen Yu was somewhat flattered, but she still accepted the sandwich from Yin Hao, as her stomach was indeed growling with hunger.

I traveled to so many places, and I walked everywhere.

She sat down in her seat and began to wolf down her food.

Chen Yu looked toward Yin Hao's office. He came out with his coat, seemingly about to leave.

"You should go back later. Come back around 3 p.m. this time. Don't arrive too early."

After giving his instructions, Yin Hao still looked a little uneasy. He gave Chen Yu another few more instructions before leaving with peace of mind.

Chen Yu sat in the huge office eating a sandwich, suddenly feeling a little lonely, while fiddling with the computer in her hands.

The project proposal is half done; only half remains to complete it.

She felt there was something wrong, but couldn't quite put her finger on it. She was afraid that her taste was inadequate and that the people here would laugh at her.

During work hours, her colleagues were all chatting and no one spoke to her except for Yin Hao, who was willing to help her.

In this unfamiliar city, Yin Hao offered Chen Yu a touch of warmth.

afternoon.

Chen Yu checked the time and arrived. This time she didn't arrive early; she arrived with her other colleagues.

Everyone greeted her and then hurriedly ran upstairs.

Chen Yu ran after them, thinking they were going to be late, but it turned out they were just in a hurry to go to the toilet...

She awkwardly returned to her seat and took a big gulp of water.

She woke up without having had any water and was dying of thirst.

She worked intently for two hours. At 6 p.m. sharp, her colleagues took off their name tags and placed them on the table, asking each other where they were going to eat that evening.

Hearing the sound, Chen Yu looked up and found that everyone was preparing to leave.

She was the only one still immersed in her work.

She opened her eyes wide and watched as everyone left one by one, even the boss.

The owner here is a very charming woman. She speaks with great flair, dresses with great style, and even her perfume is captivating enough to charm Chen Yu.

She watched her boss leave.

I got up and tidied myself up.

Yin Hao came up to her and patted her shoulder. "Want to go eat together?"

The sudden invitation caught Chen Yu off guard, and she stared blankly at Yin Hao, "Okay, what do you want to eat?"

"Let me take you to try what I think is delicious."

Yin Hao drove Chen Yu to a very small shop. There were no Chinese people inside; all the customers were local French residents.

When the boss saw Yin Hao arrive, he greeted him and spoke to him in French.

During this time, he also turned his attention to Chen Yu.

She couldn't understand, so she could only keep smiling.

Chen Yu thought the dinner was pretty good, but she still preferred what she had eaten the night before.

She shared it with Yin Hao, who looked at her in surprise, "You got a seat?"

"Yes, it's there as soon as you go."

"You're really lucky. I've been there several times, but there were never any seats available."

Chen Yu suddenly realized that you needed to take a number to get there, so she seemed to be quite lucky.

After they finished eating, Yin Hao took her for a walk, and Chen Yu expressed her gratitude to him.

Thank you for taking such good care of me. Yin Hao smiled and said it was nothing. We are all Chinese, and it is only right to take care of each other.

Chen Yu's phone vibrated. She looked at the message on it and her heart skipped a beat. It was a message from Shen Yan.

She set it so that she could only see the names and not the content. She was excited, but more than that, she was surprised.

Yin Hao noticed her expression and asked, "What's wrong? Did something happy happen?"

"Oh, it's nothing. My brother just texted me, so I guess I have to go back first."

Yin Hao nodded and quickly led Chen Yu back.

Back home, Chen Yu nervously checked her phone for messages. Shen Yan asked her what the password was for her computer.

She was stunned for a moment, a sense of disappointment welling up inside her. After so long without contact, Chen Yan's first question was actually asking her what the password was for that computer from before?

Chen Yu's face darkened instantly, and she sent him a string of numbers.

She was stunned after sending it. Wasn't the computer password set by Shen Yan herself, or was it her birthday?

How could Shen Yan possibly forget his own birthday, or perhaps he had already forgotten it long ago?

Her mind began to race with wild speculation about what was going on, but after Chen Yu replied to the message, Shen Yan never sent another message, and Chen Yu's anxiety died again.

I thought I had let go, but I didn't expect that my emotions would still be affected when he appeared.
