Time passed slowly, and Chen Kang and his men located a row of warehouses. After searching for a long time, he finally found a small restaurant with surveillance cameras, where he happened to see the group of thugs leading three people to the row of warehouses.

The officers began searching room by room. Several people hiding in the warehouse heard the noise, and Chen Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief. She was still considering whether to let go of the glass in her hand.

Looking at the two cowardly men, Li Qiang felt a surge of impatience. "What are you so afraid of? If you've come here, just don't open the door."

Zhang Yang provoked Li Qiang again. What he wanted most now was to get Li Qiang imprisoned, as this kidnapping was enough to put him in jail for several years.

The officers quickly located their position and found it locked. They immediately informed Chen Kang and prepared to force open the roller shutter door. Fearing something might really happen, Zhang Yang and Zhengzai discussed it for a moment and quickly opened the roller shutter.
Chen Kang happened to see Li Qiang raising his knife, and his hand instinctively reached for his waist. "Put the knife down!"
Li Qiang was startled, his body trembling involuntarily. Before he could make a move, he was subdued by the police officers behind him. He angrily turned around and looked at the two men standing by the switch, "You two just wait!"
Chen Kang ordered his subordinates to take everyone away, while he went forward to check on the three children.
"Yu Yu, are you alright?"
"Dad, I'm fine. Please take a look at Jiang Yang. He's bleeding a lot."
Chen Kang then noticed Jiang Yang in front of him. His face was covered in blood, and he seemed to have passed out. He took out his phone to call an ambulance, but he felt that Jiang Yang was already too weak to hold on.
Two more police officers were called, and they took Chen Yu and Wang Yue back with them. He then took Jiang Yang to the hospital.
Fortunately, he acted quickly. After handing Jiang Yang over to the doctors and nurses, he sat at the entrance of the emergency room, took out his phone, and called Jiang Yang's parents. He summarized the whole situation, told them to come quickly, and then hung up.
Jiang Yuan was at a loss for words. Chen Kang's words kept replaying in his mind. He finally realized how much he had neglected his child.
Jiang Yuan rushed to the hospital with Lin Qi. Chen Kang was pacing back and forth at the entrance of the emergency room. When he saw Jiang Yuan arrive, he patted him on the shoulder and left. Before Jiang Yuan could say thank you, seeing Chen Kang's anxious look, he didn't want to stop him.
Chen Yu was also taken to the hospital, where her wound was quickly treated. Fortunately, the glass shards weren't deep, otherwise she would have needed stitches. Li Ziyun rushed over after receiving the call. She looked at Chen Yu's hand with concern and asked, "Yu Yu, does it hurt?"
"It doesn't hurt, Mom, I'm fine!" Chen Yu comforted Li Ziyun with a smile.
Wang Yue was not injured. Chen Yu originally wanted her to go home first, since they had both been frightened, but Wang Yue refused and insisted on accompanying Chen Yu to the hospital to treat her wounds.
"Wang Yue, I'm fine now. You should go home with your mother."
"Then...can I come to your house to see you tomorrow?"
Chen Yu thought for a moment, then nodded to Wang Yue. She planned to come with Wang Yue to see Jiang Yang tomorrow, since the three of them had a bond.
No one stayed at the hospital long. Chen Yu went home with Li Ziyun, and Chen Kang went to the station to deal with the prisoners. It is said that two people confessed quickly, and others also confessed one after another. They were all the masterminds named Li Qiang, so Chen Kang was able to go home soon.
Chen Yu took a shower as soon as she got home, but because her hands were not in a convenient position, she just rinsed off briefly.
Shen Yan sat on the sofa reading the newspaper. He watched Chen Yu come downstairs, and his gaze quickly settled on Chen Yu's hands. He had heard almost everything Li Ziyun said on the phone, but he didn't know the specifics yet. However, he could guess.
Chen Yu took her dirty clothes downstairs. She stood in front of the washing machine and rummaged through the dirty clothes she had taken off. The clothes were slightly torn, and it looked like they had been ripped open. Unpleasant memories from the past instantly flooded her mind.
She took the clothes out and decisively threw them into the trash can. Out with the old, in with the new; she might as well throw away the bad memories along with them.
Turning around, Chen Yu saw Li Ziyun leaning against the counter, lost in thought. She walked into the kitchen and touched Li Ziyun's arm. "Mom, what's wrong? If you're too tired, let's go out to eat. Don't cook."
