"No, I want to go now, and I order you to come with me!" Chen Yu looked at Shen Yan domineeringly, her eyes leaving no room for Shen Yan to refuse.
Although Shen Yan felt helpless, he still went along with the young lady, "Let's go, but we can't stay too long..."
"It's so noisy!"
Chen Yu tossed the grass to Shen Yan and turned to walk ahead, a triumphant smile on her face. Shen Yan saw it all clearly; he knew he was being tricked, but he hadn't expected it to be like this.
The two went to the stable. Chen Yu took a few blades of grass from Shen Yan's hand and asked Shen Yan to unlock the lock. Shen Yan frowned and looked at Chen Yu, "No, this is too dangerous. Just feed them like this."
"I told you to go drive it, so go drive it. Why are you talking so much nonsense now?"
Chen Yu's face showed impatience and anger. Shen Yan was extremely unwilling, but Chen Yu's expression was fierce, as if he wanted to devour him. Shen Yan had no choice but to step forward and unlock the door. The moment he opened it, Chen Yu kicked him from behind, and Shen Yan stumbled and fell inside.
Seeing that his plan had succeeded, Chen Yu laughed heartily and locked the door, leaving Shen Yan locked up all night.
It wasn't until the next day when Chen Le went to feed the horses that he discovered it.
Because of this, Chen Kang came to the farm and gave Chen Yu a good scolding, and even made her stay in her room for two days and not allow her to come out.
That concludes the recollection.
Chen Yu suddenly felt that she had been a terrible person before. The more she had acted recklessly before, the more miserable she was in love now.
[Fish: Okay, Dad, I'll go with Shen Yan tomorrow.]
She quickly replied to Chen Kang's message, determined not to do anything so outrageous to Shen Yan again this time.
Chen Kang looked at Chen Yu's message. Although he really wanted to put the two children with Chen Le, he was afraid that Chen Yu would do something to hurt Shen Yan, so he hesitated when sending the message.
"What's wrong, honey?" Li Ziyun looked at her husband who was sighing beside her. Why was he still unhappy when they were out having fun?
"It's okay, I'll let Yu Yu go to Chen Le's place with Xiao Shen, but I'm worried about Yu Yu... sigh."
Li Ziyun thought the same thing as Chen Kang: if Chen Yu did something outrageous again, the two of them would have to go back from the resort. Shen Yan was also a pitiful child. "Let Chen Le keep an eye on him."
Chen Kang nodded; this was the only option for now.
Chen Yu lay on the bed staring blankly at Shen Yan's chat box. She typed some words on the screen, then deleted them. She didn't know how to tell Shen Yan about going to stay at the farm. Would telling him directly remind him of her past misdeeds?
"Ugh!" Chen Yu irritably put the doll on her head down. Forget it, I'll deal with it tomorrow. After a day of classes and two hours of shopping, Chen Yu fell asleep the moment she closed her eyes.
next door.
Shen Yan rubbed his aching wrists. He had almost finished half of his winter break homework. It was all easy for him; he had even considered buying more to reinforce his knowledge. But recently, he had received a message from Chen Kang asking him to go to Chen Le's farm with Chen Yu. Those unhappy memories flooded his mind; that night had been so cold…
He chuckled self-deprecatingly, wondering what right he had to refuse. He sighed deeply, pulled back the covers, and went to bed.
Early in the morning, Chen Yu was awakened by her phone ringing, followed by a deep knock on the door. She didn't react at first, unsure whether to answer the phone or open the door. The caller ID showed it was her uncle, Chen Le, and she knew without a doubt that he was urging her to go out.
"Chen Yu, are you awake? Uncle Chen Le is here to pick you up." A cold, stern voice rang out, and Chen Yu's sleepiness vanished. She hummed in response to Chen Yan and then answered the phone next to her pillow.
"Hey, Uncle."
"I just woke up. I'll wash up and then I can go out."
"You can just wait downstairs."
Chen Yu hung up the phone, opened the door, yawned, and walked out, only to bump into a stiff, fleshy wall. Shen Yan was still there. The two stared at each other in surprise. Chen Yu immediately lowered her head, walked around Shen Yan, and ran to the bathroom.
Shen Yan didn't take it seriously. He went into Chen Yu's room, took out the suitcase under the table, and started packing her things. He picked out a few clothes that Chen Yu often wore recently, and also took the things she usually used. He then carried the suitcase downstairs. After Chen Yu finished washing up, she returned to her room to pack her things, only to find that her suitcase and backpack were gone.
"Chen Yan! Have you seen my suitcase and schoolbag? Where did they go?" Chen Yu shouted downstairs from the stairwell.
Shen Yan downstairs said helplessly, "I've packed all your things downstairs. Just change your clothes and come down."
Chen Yu was stunned. Over time, she had forgotten that Shen Yan had packed all her things. No wonder Shen Yan disliked her so much. She treated him like a servant. No one would be happy in that situation.
She returned to her room somewhat dejectedly to change her clothes. It was a bit chilly outside, so she put on a fleece coat and followed Shen Yan downstairs. Only after getting into the car did she realize that Shen Yan wasn't wearing the new shoes Chen Yu had bought for him.
"Xiaoyu, Xiaoshen, it's been so long! You two have grown up so much."
Chen Le looked at the two people in the back seat with a smile. His brother Chen Kang had given him a task: to try to ease the tension between Chen Yu and Shen Yan. In recent years, Chen Yu had become increasingly unreasonable towards Shen Yan, and Shen Yan was a quiet child who always granted Chen Yu's requests. Chen Kang was afraid that he would feel uncomfortable, so he refused to say anything.
"Just drive and stop talking nonsense." Chen Yu looked at Chen Le impatiently; she hated Chen Le's incessant chatter.
