"I'll play."
Shen Yan took out his phone and called Chen Kang. This time the call was answered.
"Hello? Uncle Kang, where are you and Aunt Yun?"
"Oh? We're watching a movie. You guys take care of dinner yourselves. Keep an eye on your little sister."
Chen Kang hung up the phone immediately after speaking, leaving Chen Yu looking at Shen Yan with a bewildered expression.
"Hanged up..."
"ah?"
Chen Yu stared at Shen Yan in shock. He hadn't even said where they were going? What about her clothes?
Shen Yan scratched his head helplessly, "Are you hungry? Uncle Kang told us to eat by ourselves."
Chen Yu hesitated for a moment, then looked at the rice noodles next to her and said, "Let's eat this."
After they finished eating, she took Shen Yan to buy clothes.
The two entered the shop and each ordered a bowl of noodles. Suddenly, the waiter approached them and said, "Hello, are you a couple? We have a special offer on couple's meals right now. Would you like to change your order?"
Chen Yu and Shen Yan were both taken aback. Chen Yu immediately shook her head, "We're siblings..."

The waitress ran away awkwardly, and Shen Yan and Chen Yu also felt embarrassed. Chen Yu's heart was pounding. What the waitress said was actually quite nice, but it was inappropriate for their age.
The two finished their noodles quietly, and Shen Yan paid the bill and left.
Chen Yu walked into a men's clothing store and looked at the clothes inside. Chen Yan's figure was like a clothes hanger; he looked good in anything. She looked at the clothes and then at Chen Yan, and suddenly her mind started wandering.
Chen Yu shook her head in shock. How could she think such things about a child? It was truly a sin.
"Chen Yan, would you like to try on this jacket?"
Chen Yu pointed to the coat in front of her, and the saleswoman immediately sprinted over, "Hello, what do you need?"
Shen Yan shook his head. "Go look at your clothes."
"Well, since you're already here, go ahead and try it on. Just take this one down, thank you."
As soon as Chen Yu mentioned it to the shop assistant, she immediately took it down. "Hey young man, you're really handsome. This outfit will definitely suit you perfectly."
After being showered with praise, Shen Yan scratched his head somewhat embarrassedly, took the clothes and put them on. Chen Yu had good taste; he looked even more handsome in these clothes.
"This one is the one."
Chen Yu's confident demeanor excited the shop assistant, who then brought out another pair of pants. "Young man, would you like to try on these pants? They'd look great on you."
Just as Shen Yan was about to refuse, Chen Yu spoke up: "Give it a try, and if you like it, buy it together."

As soon as Chen Yu and Shen Yan entered, she bought the coat directly. As for the pants, she thought they were just so-so, but if Shen Yan liked them, she would buy them too.

The saleswoman almost thought Chen Yu was going to back out, and her sales performance was about to plummet.
Shen Yan stood outside the store, not hearing Chen Yu's words at all, but when he saw Chen Yu come out with a bag.
He was somewhat surprised. "You bought it?"
"Yeah, buy it if you like it. Besides, you've helped me improve my grades so much, I've always wanted to buy you something."
Chen Yu's words surprised Shen Yan, and a strange flutter of emotion stirred within him. Looking at the bag in Chen Yu's hand, he couldn't even utter a word of thanks.
"Take it, your clothes are too heavy, I'm too lazy to carry them."
Chen Yu put the bag in Shen Yan's hands, walked in front of him, and even bought two cups of milk tea, giving one to Shen Yan.
After eating and drinking her fill, Chen Yu finally decided to go home. She hailed a taxi, got in, and started playing on her phone.
She looked at the messages in the group chat; Wang Yue and Jiang Yang were arguing again.
Chen Yu found it a bit funny; the two of them had been arguing since they were kids.
Shen Yan kept thinking about how he should thank Chen Yu.
He didn't say it until evening.
Late at night.
Shen Yan sat up in bed. He planned to buy something for Chen Yu. Logically speaking, since her grades had improved so much, he, as her older brother, should praise her and give her a gift. He felt that he had acted somewhat inappropriately.
The next morning.
Shen Yan spent the whole night thinking about what to send, which made it difficult for him to sleep. He got up early to study and then went downstairs to make some breakfast. Chen Yu got up on her own without Shen Yan having to wake her up. She washed up and went downstairs.
It smells wonderful.
She saw that Shen Yan had made her a bowl of noodles.
"You got up so early just to do this?"
"Um..."
Shen Yan looked at her with some doubt. How did Chen Yu know that she got up early?
"So that's what you were doing downstairs with all that banging and clanging."
Chen Yu slurped up a mouthful of noodles; it still had to be Chen Yan's skill.
However, she never got to eat it again.
After finishing their meal, the two rushed out the door, knowing they would be scolded for being late on Monday.
Fortunately, the two arrived before Lao Wang did. Shen Yan was wondering why he was late.
Looking at Chen Yu beside him, he understood the reason.
He used to come to school alone, but now that there's someone else, he'll be late if he waits.
When Old Wang took the test paper, he first praised Shen Yan as always, as he was still in first place this time.
He then praised Chen Yu, but he still couldn't quite believe it. How could Chen Yu's grades have improved so much all of a sudden, especially now that she was sitting next to Shen Yan? But he was too lazy to care, since these were her own grades, and she wouldn't be able to cheat on them during the college entrance exam.
Chen Yu made it into the top five this time.
She watched her ranking climb higher and higher, almost reaching Chen Yan's. Going to the same university as him was definitely possible!
Just thinking about her makes me happy.
