Watching Chen Yu run away, Shen Yan felt numb. He really wished that Chen Yu could disappear from this world.
Shen Yan went back to bed and lay down, falling asleep soon after. He hadn't slept all night; the tree branches outside the window were making noise and he couldn't sleep, plus the chair was a bit small, so he couldn't sleep at all. Chen Yu, on the other hand, slept well. She went back to her room and slept for a while, and when she woke up, she smelled the fragrance downstairs.
It was obvious without even thinking that Shen Yan was preparing the meal.
After washing up, Chen Yu went downstairs and saw Shen Yan carrying a plate and placing it on the dining table. Chen Yu went into the kitchen, drank a glass of warm water, and then sat down to eat. Neither of them spoke. Shen Yan sat opposite Chen Yu, eating with his head down the whole time.

After washing the dishes, Shen Yan walked into the living room. He saw Chen Yu standing in the doorway, lost in thought, and then turned and went upstairs. He planned to study as much as possible while there was light. He was spotted by Chen Yu as soon as he went upstairs. Chen Yu was startled. She hadn't expected Shen Yan to make such a blatant display of disgust. She stared blankly at the drizzle, but soon felt indifferent. She couldn't blame Shen Yan for hating her so much. Feeling tired, Chen Yu lay down on the sofa for a while and eventually fell asleep. The electricity came back on around 3 p.m. The TV hadn't been turned off the night before, and it started playing as soon as the power was on. Chen Yu was woken up by the sound of the TV.
She looked at the wall clock with a headache. She had actually slept for more than three hours and didn't know if she would be able to sleep tonight. She sat on the sofa in a daze, watching the TV in front of her. After a while, she remembered to charge her phone. She turned off the TV and went upstairs. When she passed by Chen Yan's room, it was very quiet. Chen Yu guessed that he was probably studying.
Back in her room, Chen Yu plugged in her phone to charge.
As soon as he turned on his phone, he saw a bunch of messages, including a voice message from Chen Le, asking if Chen Yu and Shen Yan had eaten. Chen Le was trying to call Chen Yu's phone, but it was switched off. He was extremely anxious. He called Shen Yan and found out that Chen Yu's phone was out of battery and that the two of them had already eaten. Only then did Chen Le feel relieved and continue to stay on the other side.
