Chapter 92 Shen Yan is Jealous

It was already evening when Chen Yu got back to the dormitory. After taking a shower and climbing into bed, she took out her phone.

She was shocked to find out that Shen Yan had sent her a lot of messages and made three or four phone calls.

Chen Yu was so engrossed in chatting with the two of them that she didn't even have time to look at her phone. The three of them seemed to have known each other for a long time.

She quickly replied to Shen Yan's message, explaining what she had been doing that afternoon.

Upon receiving the message, Shen Yan, who was initially very anxious, felt relieved after seeing that Chen Yu had replied.

But he felt uneasy. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he just felt uncomfortable. Upon reflection, it seemed to be because Chen Yu had neglected him.

Chen Yu didn't receive a reply from Shen Yan and assumed he was asleep, since it was already past eleven o'clock.

The next morning, Chen Yu got up early and checked her phone, only to find that there wasn't a single message from Chen Yan.

She also found it a bit strange that Shen Yan hadn't gotten up yet at this hour. Logically speaking, Shen Yan should have woken up around seven or eight o'clock.

Chen Yu woke up at around nine o'clock.

Shen Yan kept checking his phone, hoping Chen Yu would contact him, but he hadn't received a message by noon.

Classes will be held in the afternoon.

Chen Yu was also absent-minded; her mind was a complete mess. How could Shen Yan have suddenly changed like this?

She couldn't figure it out no matter what.

Li Ke'er nudged Chen Yu's arm. "What's wrong?"

"Huh? It's nothing."

Li Ke'er looked at Chen Yu suspiciously. How could nothing be wrong? Did she quarrel with her good brother?

Huang Xiaoni also curiously came over, "What's wrong? Chen Yu, are you unhappy?"

She looked at Chen Yu intently, as if trying to read something from her calm expression.

"Something's wrong with you."

Since Li Ke'er couldn't get an answer, she simply stopped asking and waited for Chen Yu to speak when he wanted to.

After class, Chen Yu went downstairs, still looking around expectantly, but she didn't see Chen Yan at all.

Although she was unhappy, she still tried to make amends for him, saying that maybe he was in class or busy.

Back in the dormitory, Chen Yu wanted to find Li Ke'er and Huang Xiaoni to hang out with and distract herself.

Huang Xiaoni was looking at her horoscope on her phone. Chen Yu leaned over to take a look, and Huang Xiaoni immediately tilted her head to the side so that Chen Yu could see it more clearly.

"What's your zodiac sign, Chen Yu?"

"Me? I think I'm a Scorpio."

Huang Xiaoni nodded knowingly, showed her the Scorpio horoscope, and handed her the phone so she could look at it carefully. She herself didn't look at it; she didn't have the habit of peeking at other people's horoscopes!

Li Ke'er also came up curiously and asked Huang Xiaoni what she was looking at. Unexpectedly, the two of them were looking at the same thing.

Chen Yu was still carefully looking at her fortune, and when she saw the part about having a cold war with someone, she instantly became convinced of its power and even asked Huang Xiaoni to send it to her.

Chen Yu spent the whole afternoon studying this, and she didn't put down her phone until it was time for dinner.

Shen Yan hadn't received any message from Chen Yu all day, and he was on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Wang Qi and A Zhe were planning to go out for dinner, but seeing Chen Yan's dark and stern face, they pulled him out with them.

All the way, they kept asking Shen Yan what was wrong.

Shen Yan brought up the matter somewhat embarrassedly, leaving Wang Qi and A Zhe completely speechless.

"You're giving her the silent treatment over something so small? You might scare her away."

Ah Zhe was speechless at Shen Yan's twisted personality and gave him a long lecture.

As a man, you can't be more conflicted than a woman.

Shen Yan appeared to be listening attentively, but it seemed that he didn't really think that way.

He wanted to follow Ah Zhe's mindset, but when it came to actually sending a message, he just couldn't bring himself to do it; he hadn't spoken a word all day.

Would it be a bit too strange for me to suddenly go to see her?

Wang Qi patted Shen Yan on the shoulder, "Dude, if it really doesn't work out, let me and A Zhe have her. She's so pretty, she must have a lot of suitors."

A Zhe stared at Wang Qi in shock. Could a good brother really say something like that? But Wang Qi gave him a reassuring look. He definitely knew what he was doing; he was just trying to provoke Shen Yan.

Sure enough, Shen Yan was really provoked. His gaze towards Wang Qi changed, and he seemed to be holding back a lot of anger.

"Don't even think about it."

After saying that, Shen Yan left. After Wang Qi said that, Shen Yan did realize the sense of crisis.

He had never thought about this issue before. He remembered that in his senior year of high school, a boy openly came into the classroom and asked Chen Yu to be his girlfriend. Just thinking about it made him angry.

I stormed up to Chen Yu's dormitory building, called her, and asked her to come downstairs.

Chen Yu was secretly pleased when she received the call, but remained outwardly cold.

"what?"

Her tone was a bit harsh; she got angry just seeing Shen Yan.

"I, I..."

I remained silent for a long time, unable to utter a single word. I was angered by Wang Qi, but I had no idea what I wanted to say to Chen Yu.

Now, the two of them stood there awkwardly without saying a word for a full 10 minutes.

Finally, Chen Yu couldn't stand it anymore and spoke first.

"Have you eaten?"

"Not yet, have you eaten?"

Chen Yu shook her head. Shen Yan took Chen Yu to eat, and they didn't talk much along the way. For the first time, Chen Yu felt so awkward being with Shen Yan.

She really wanted to ask Shen Yan what he had been doing all day, but she also felt that she hadn't done anything wrong. Why should she ask him? Shen Yan wouldn't tell her on his own.

Shen Yan bought two bowls of noodles.

It was Chen Yu's favorite food, and he even bought her a cup of milk tea.

But Chen Yu isn't someone who's easily appeased; she still appears quite aloof.

This made Shen Yan feel even more uncomfortable.

It wasn't that he was jealous, but he was a little unhappy that Chen Yu had forgotten about him after making new friends.

Since returning to her dorm, she hasn't sent him a single message. Even if she had something to say, she could have just told him.

Shen Yan found it increasingly strange. The two weren't in that kind of relationship, and it was Chen Yu's freedom to say whether or not to. Even if they were, he had no right to demand that Chen Yu do so.

He simply wanted Chen Yu to be happy.

Before long, he managed to calm himself down.

They also managed to cheer up Chen Yu, and Chen Yu's mood finally improved a lot.

Shen Yan swallowed this matter.

Chen Yu still doesn't know why Shen Yan suddenly stopped contacting her, but she doesn't dare to ask.

Li Ke'er looked at Chen Yu, who was in a good mood after going out for a while, and asked, "Oh, you've made up with your good brother?"

"What are you saying!"

Chen Yu blushed at her words, and Huang Xiaoni curiously leaned closer, "What good brother? Whose good brother?"

Her expression made Chen Yu laugh out loud. "No!"
