Chapter 96 The paper is torn!

After dealing with Huang Xiaoni's matter, it was Chen Yu's turn to deal with her own. She opened the chat window with Shen Yan.

I deleted and retyped many words because I felt this was something difficult to talk about.

I'm always afraid that things won't go as I expect.

After much deliberation, Chen Yu was torn between giving up and persisting.

I was stuck in this dilemma for half an hour.

The time dragged on and on, and it had been almost an hour since they had replied to Shen Yan's message.

The previous post was about the two of them discussing where to eat.

After thinking it over, Chen Yu realized that even if they didn't say anything and continued to get along like this, it wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

But she felt a sense of resentment, as if Shen Yan wasn't someone she truly held in her own hands.

You have to worry about losing it at any time.

Since she was going to do something drastic, Chen Yu edited some words, roughly meaning that she didn't want her relationship with Shen Yan to remain at this level.

She phrased it quite tactfully, after all, she still cared about saving face, but deep down she hoped that Shen Yan would reply in the way she wanted.

Upon receiving the message, Shen Yan was still playing games.

He glanced at the message, his hand pausing as he touched the mouse, lost in thought, forgetting that the game was still in progress.

Wang Qi shouted, "Brother Shen Yan, what are you doing? Why aren't you moving!"

He turned to look at Shen Yan and found him staring blankly at the message. Wang Qi glanced at A Zhe, and the two of them were curious about what was wrong with Shen Yan.

As he stepped forward, Shen Yan realized what was happening. He stood up and walked out of the dormitory, saying, "I'm done playing now."

He stared at the message, unable to think of a reply for a long time.

Chen Yu was getting impatient, especially while waiting for this kind of information. She even wanted to go and talk to Shen Yan in person.

After 20 minutes without receiving a message, Chen Yu became restless and began to have wild thoughts running through her mind, wondering if Shen Yan was unwilling to accept this.

Or is it that he continues to treat her like a younger sister?

Chen Yu felt angry and ashamed, thinking that she shouldn't have sent such a message; after all, it should be a boy who sends it.

She angrily slammed her phone face down on the table.

On the surface, she didn't want to look, but in reality, her eyes never left her phone.

Both Li Ke'er and Huang Xiaoni noticed that Chen Yu was acting strangely.

After asking around, Chen Yu said that she was fine, just a little upset.

Li Ke'er and Huang Xiaoni didn't dare to ask any more questions, and Chen Yu's face was already incredibly dark.

Of course, Chen Yu himself was unaware of this.

Shen Yan thought about it for a long time. After being trained by Wang Qi and A Zhe, he knew that this was something that girls shouldn't be the ones to bring up.

He thought of a long message for Chen Yu, roughly saying that it seemed impossible for them to be in a romantic relationship.

The reason is that he cannot erase the damage Chen Yu caused him before.

He was about to send it out when he regretted it. This was the first time he had the urge to accuse Chen Yu. But another voice in his head said that if he said it, something irreversible would happen.

Should he say that or not?

Shen Yan lowered his head and thought for a long time. He could no longer deceive himself; his feelings for Chen Yu were real.

I feel ashamed that I had this kind of feeling towards my younger sister whom I grew up with.

Chen Yu didn't receive a reply for a long time, so he simply took his phone and went downstairs to Chen Yan's dormitory building, calling him to come down.

Chen Yan took a deep breath and went downstairs.

The two sat on a bench; it was getting late and there weren't many people on campus.

Chen Yu looked at Shen Yan, who lowered his head and remained silent.

"Don't you have anything you want to tell me?"

When Chen Yu asked him this question, Shen Yan knew he couldn't run away anymore, so he looked intently at Chen Yu's face.

"I don't know how to say it, do you think we should do this?"

Chen Yu sensed Shen Yan's hesitation. She had thought about it herself, but her feelings for Shen Yan outweighed her rationality, and she couldn't think about these practical issues.

Do you have those kinds of feelings for me?

"I...."

Shen Yan remained silent for a long time, feeling that his organizational skills had declined.

For the first time, Chen Yu experienced the taste of heartache; so this is what it feels like.

She looked at Shen Yan with some disappointment, "I understand, I'll go back now."

Chen Yu stood up to go back to her dormitory, but Shen Yan grabbed her hand. "Can you give me some time? My mind is a bit of a mess right now."

He looked at Chen Yu with some guilt; he didn't want to see Chen Yu like this either.

Chen Yu nodded gently, declining Shen Yan's offer to take her back, and chose to walk back alone.

She knew that Shen Yan would definitely recall what had happened before. She suddenly began to regret whether she had been too hasty. She had finally made some progress with Shen Yan, but now it seemed that everything was about to fall apart.

Chen Yu had a mix of indescribable feelings. She frantically tried to guess what Chen Yan was thinking, but she forgot that people's thoughts couldn't be communicated.

As Shen Yan watched her departing figure, he hesitated, wondering whether he should chase after her.

But his rationality prevailed over his emotions, and he chose to return to his dormitory.

Chen Yu hadn't spoken for several days in a row, and she just stared blankly at the chat box every day.

She had no idea what Shen Yan was thinking about that had taken so long.

Li Ke'er and Huang Xiaoni wanted to ask, but Chen Yu was shrouded in sadness.

The two sneaked up to the stairwell of the dormitory building and each bought an ice cream.

"Nini, do you think Chen Yu and Shen Yan had a fight?"
