Chapter 17 The Fox Chooses to Do Evil Tonight
After Mingyueyi went out, he did not stay any longer. He climbed up the tree trunk and returned to the yard, pulling out Shang'er from the storage bag.
Shang'er thought she was going to call her to task, so she hugged the blood-red agate tightly with both hands, blinking pitifully, "Daojun, you can't blame me."
Mingyueyi didn't come to blame her, but to ask her something in detail.
She asked the paper-cut, "Are you afraid of Puyuemin?"
"Who is Pu Yuemin?" Shang'er blinked blankly. Seeing that she was not here to accuse her, she let go of the agate and floated up to circle around her.
"Is it Daojun's junior brother from earlier?"
Ming Yueyi nodded calmly: "Yeah."
Shang'er turned around, stopped in front of her and said truthfully, "I'm scared. He has an indescribable oppressive aura, like a snake that can swallow everything. When you approached him just now, I fainted."
She was able to faint even when staying in a storage bag that could block out the aura. It seemed that Pu Yuemin's physique was indeed special. No wonder the master was so worried about him. He was truly a natural walking demon killer.
Ming Yueyi asked, "If the magical weapon is tainted with his aura, will the little demon also be afraid?"
"Of course. The oppression from him is so strong that ordinary monsters would avoid him if they smelled his scent, let alone dare to approach him." Shang'er said, and suddenly floated on her shoulder again, curiously asking, "Does this person have any powerful magic weapon?"
Mingyueyi didn't say anything.
Shang'er was a demon after all, so seeing she remained silent, he stopped asking and only muttered, "Master Dao, please don't let him know of my existence. I still want to live for thousands of years and become a great demon who commands a region."
"Yes." Mingyueyi agreed and opened the storage bag: "Go in and hide for a while, he will be here soon."
When she heard that he was coming, Shang'er, who originally didn't like staying in the dark storage bag, immediately got in and hid herself tightly inside, for fear that her evil aura would be revealed and she would be discovered.
Ming Yueyi thought he would come over as soon as he finished bathing, but she waited in the yard from early morning until the sunset, but he didn't come.
Looking at the golden crow setting over the mountain in the sky, a streak of bright red smudged the dark grey sky, and a faint moon vaguely rose, she wondered if she had heard it wrongly during the day. Didn't he say he was coming to find her?
The You hour has passed, and in a few moments it will be completely dark.
Seeing that it was getting dark, she didn't wait any longer. After washing up, she lay down on the couch and closed her eyes to sleep.
However, soon after she closed her eyes, she vaguely felt something cold creeping into the quilt. It was as smooth as naked human skin, causing the hairs all over her body to stand on end.
I thought the snake demon from last night had come again.
Mingyueyi carefully held her breath and pretended not to be awake yet. When the thing wrapped around her neck, she suddenly reached out to take off the belt from her waist, hooked the boy on her body and pressed him against the bed wall.
At this moment, the moonlight outside has risen high, and the cold moonlight leaks in through the window partition. The room is so gray that you can vaguely see people's faces.
The young man in a red robe tilted his neck back, leaning against the Yang Fei-colored gauze wall in a surrendered posture. His loose collar was slightly open, revealing skin so white that it gave the illusion of having a layer of skin peeled off.
"Pu Yuemin?" Ming Yueyi looked at the young man's face in surprise.
"Yes, senior sister, it's me." The corners of his eyes were slightly red, and his lips, which were pale and rosy, were gently raised. Even though his neck was about to be strangled by the magic belt in her hand, he looked innocent and non-aggressive.
Blood flowed from his white neck. Mingyueyi shuddered at the chill of his blood and subconsciously loosened the magic belt on his fingertips.
His physique was so special that even his blood was cold, reminding her of some kind of thick and sticky cold-blooded animal.
"Why are you climbing onto my bed in the middle of the night?" Ming Yueyi put away her magic belt and tied it around her waist again with her head down, so she missed the young man's gaze fixed on the hem of her skirt. A trace of regret flashed across her pale face.
"I told you during the day that I would come find you after taking a bath." He slowly stood up and knelt beside her, his long black hair flowing behind him like a waterfall.
Ming Yueyi looked up and saw his long hair, which was still wet at the tip.
What was cold and sticky around his neck just now was probably his hanging hair.
Ming Yueyi said, "Why are you taking so long to wash? I thought you weren't coming today."
He narrowed his eyes and smiled slightly, "I'm coming, I just want to clean myself up."
In order to be clean, he peeled off all the skin and scales on his body, so now he is very clean, so clean that only flesh and blood are left.
She will definitely like it.
Ming Yueyi looked at the slender young man in front of her, not knowing what she was thinking about. Suddenly, she lowered her eyes, a light blush appeared on her pale cheeks, and she looked like a pretty girl waiting to be teased.
She forced herself to suppress the subtle emotions that crossed her heart and held out her hand to him: "It's getting late, give it to me and go back early."
Give it to her?
Pu Yuemin stared at the woman's fair face in the night, pondered for a few breaths, and slowly placed his pointed chin in her palm, looking up: "Is this how you give it to me?"
?
Mingyueyi's eyes turned a little subtle when she looked at him.
This kind of intimate action, if performed by ordinary men and women, would be regarded as flirting, but when he did it, it felt completely the opposite, as if as long as she nodded, he could immediately twist his head off and give it to her.
Even his head wouldn't die, it would just give her a weird smile of satisfaction with its lips split open.
Mingyue Yiru took the hot potato and suddenly pulled her hand back: "No."
Pu Yuemin's head lost its support and fell down, with her entire face buried between her knees. She didn't speak for a while, but a very light sound of bones connecting could be heard from the darkness.
Before she could think carefully, the boy had already raised his head, his neck was a little tilted, and he turned it stiffly before adjusting it back to its original position.
He asked, "What do you want, Senior Sister?"
Ming Yueyi said, "Give me a magic weapon I often use, and I'll keep it by my side."
"I see." He said in a light tone, as if with a hint of regret.
Then he raised his hand and pressed it on his ribs, pulling out a silver-white snake-shaped sword from his body. There was a line of blood red on the sword, and a cold frosty air was emanating from it.
Pu Yuemin handed her the sword and said, "Senior Sister, use this."
Ming Yueyi took it and looked at it in surprise: "You will give me your natal sword?"
For those who practice swordsmanship, their natal sword is connected to their physical senses, just like the golden lotus in her body. Whenever something happens, she will also be hurt.
He was so generous that he gave her his natal sword without hesitation.
Pu Yuemin's brows held a hint of a smile. "Well, I don't have any other magical weapons on me at the moment, except for the snake sword. If you're worried about monsters getting close to you, you can carry it with you."
Ming Yueyi asked, "What about you?"
He stared at her softly, shook his head and said, "It's okay, I believe in you, Senior Sister."
Since he was so relieved, Mingyueyi would not be polite anymore.
She quickly put away her sword and thanked him, "Thank you, Junior Brother. If you need anything in the future, you can come to me and I will help you in the same way."
He asked, “Is anything okay?”
Ming Yueyi was just being polite, but seeing that he was serious, she paused and nodded, "Yes."
"Okay, I understand." He smiled and got off the bed.
The young man stood by the bed, gazing at her with lowered brows, his eyes clouded with emotion, his expression difficult to discern. He said softly, "Senior Sister, I will look for you later."
Mingyueyi nodded. As long as it was not a difficult matter, she would not be stingy.
After getting her response, Pu Yuemin didn't stay in the room for long and turned around and walked out.
When he opened the door, the cold moonlight outside fell on his blood-red smock, and even his back looked inexplicably cold and elegant.
Mingyueyi looked down at the snake sword in his hand and reached out to touch the sword.
As cold as his body temperature.
No wonder everyone in the sect likes him. Junior brother treats people very well.
She thought for a moment, then felt sleepy, so she placed the snake sword beside her, lay back on the couch, closed her eyes and rested.
Ever since the spiritual roots in her body were blocked, she slept very deeply every night and soon fell asleep with her whole body relaxed.
A beam of cold moonlight peeked in from outside the window pane. Something was wriggling in the bedding on the bed. A long, snowy tail could be vaguely seen sticking out from inside and wrapping around the woman's thin ankle.
A beautiful head stretched out from inside. The young man who should have left long ago was now hugging Mingyueyi on the bed, and a light hiss of pleasure came from his pale lips.
I can be with my senior sister from now on.
-
Because he had Pu Yuemin's natal sword last night, Ming Yueyi slept very soundly last night. It was the only night since he came out of Baihua Valley that he did not dream of snakes or be entangled by a snake demon.
After she woke up and washed up, she sat in front of the dressing table and opened the storage bag. She originally wanted to call Shang'er out, but found that she had already fainted inside.
It seems that his natal sword is the same as others, and ordinary monsters will feel like they have encountered their natural enemy when they touch it.
After Shang'er woke up, she stared at the snake sword hanging beside the bed with resentment. She turned to look at her and said, "Master Dao, why don't you return this magical weapon? I always want to kneel down and worship it when I see it."
Ming Yueyi thought she was joking and comforted her, "Just keep it in the storage bag for now. I'll return the sword to my eldest brother when I find him later."
So, Shang'er was comforted and got into the storage bag.
Although Mingyueyi cannot leave the house, she can walk around the house freely.
The sun was shining brightly today. She sat with her head tilted back amidst the spring scenery in the garden. The bright spring sun fell on her body, making her feel warm and a little tired.
She hadn't had such a free moment in a long time.
The last time it happened was probably when she first entered the book. She was innocent at that time and didn't know that she would be sacrificed to the sword in the future, and would be constantly reborn and reincarnated over and over again. In every life since then, she has been frantically looking for ways to avoid the ending.
From this life on, she decided to let go of her obsession, and she felt a calm and crazy feeling as if her life had hope again.
A drop of water mixed with the cool morning light fell on her high nose bridge and slid to the side of her cheek. Her long, curled eyelashes trembled slightly twice.
She opened her eyes dazedly, and what she saw were the young man's beautiful and smiling eyes. The golden light fell on his profile, with a hint of transparent coldness.
"Senior Sister." He called her softly.
Ming Yueyi came back to his senses instantly, his voice still hoarse from waking up: "Why are you here?"
Pu Yuemin's upturned eyes fixed on her seriously. "I went to your courtyard looking for you, but you weren't there. Since the spring scenery was beautiful today, I came out to the garden to enjoy the flowers. Who knew Senior Sister was here?"
As he spoke, he curved his eyes. The morning light was gentle and not dazzling, and it fell on his smile, making people feel particularly comfortable.
Ming Yueyi shifted her gaze from his soft lips and lowered her eyelids slightly, only to realize that he was very close to her. The hems of their robes overlapped, creating the illusion that they were entangled together.
He followed her gaze and looked down, and seemed to realize that he was being too close, so he took the initiative to lean back a little to increase the distance between them.
Ming Yueyi squinted at him without saying anything. She asked with a sleepy look in her eyes, "What do you want from me?"
Pu Yuemin licked his lips, as if he still remembered the sweet gaze that Senior Sister had just cast on them. With a slightly dazed look in his eyes, he said, "Senior Sister, aren't you looking for Senior Brother? I came to tell you that he will be back today."
"So fast?" Mingyueyi was surprised.
She thought He Wujiu would take a long time to come back, but she didn't expect him to come back so soon.
"Yeah." Pu Yuemin stared at the woman in front of him, the corners of his cold lips curled up, "Senior brother said that he found Senior Sister."
Mingyueyi didn't understand what he meant.
It was not until the afternoon that she saw He Wujiu coming back from outside, accompanied by a woman who was dressed exactly like her, except for her face.
The very iconic fox face.
"Thank you, my lady and my husband, for taking me in during this time. It allowed me to find my junior sister." The young man in a white robe, who was not stained by dust, bowed with his sword in his arms, but he did not seem to be servile. Instead, he had the air of a free and easy immortal.
Mingyueyi sat in his original position, looking at the woman behind He Wujiu with a smile on his face, with no emotion in his heart.
She finally understood why he suddenly lost his heart. It was because of the fox demon.
Then it’s not unfair.
She watched so intently that the fox demon couldn't help but look up at her, with an innocent look on her face, and even covered her lips with her hands and coughed weakly a few times.
He Wujiu heard this and stopped chatting. He turned his head and looked at her warmly, "Junior sister, is the poison acting up again?"
"Maybe." The fox demon shook his head weakly.
He Wujiu then looked at the siblings not far away and said, "My junior sister is injured. I wonder if you two could let me stay with her for a few more days. When she recovers, I will definitely thank you generously."
He found his junior sister in the fox cave. She was already dying and had been poisoned by a demon, so he couldn't bring her back to Fenjing Peak now.
Ming Yueyi didn't say anything, but the young man who was supporting his chin with one hand stared at the weak woman from beginning to end.
The fox demon stood behind He Wujiu, quietly raised her charming eyes, and looked at the young man sitting above with a distracted look.
What a handsome man.
A look of amazement and fascination gradually appeared in the fox demon's eyes, and a pair of fox ears unconsciously appeared, but she quickly reacted and retracted them so that no one saw them.
She lowered her head guiltily and heard the boy's gentle and soft voice.
"Okay, if Daojun wants to stay, you can stay as long as you want."
The lazy tone is clear and cold, like spring water splashing on a hot heart, giving people a very warm and comfortable feeling.
He Wujiu said to him, "Thank you very much."
"No need." Pu Yuemin smiled and curled her lips, her eyes passing behind him.
He Wujiu moved into the Ming Mansion with his fox demon junior sister.
He seemed not to realize that the fox demon was not her, and he didn't even recognize her when she was standing in front of him.
Ming Yueyi returned to the courtyard, sat on a rattan chair and rocked gently, wondering when the magic weapon would appear.
Now that the heart-ripping fox demon has appeared, the magic weapon will probably be ready soon.
How should she get the magic weapon before He Wujiu? What did the magic weapon look like in its original state? She only remembered that it was a vajra.
Just as she was thinking about it, a tall and graceful shadow suddenly appeared at the door. The backlight of the setting sun stretched it very slenderly. The dark shadow climbed up step by step like a thin and cold jade bamboo, and finally landed on the hem of her light blue skirt.
Mingyueyi turned his eyes slightly and looked over.
The young man stood at the door and gave her an innocent smile. He moved his lips and asked her in a very soft voice, "Senior Sister, do you want to stop the fox demon from doing evil?"
The fox demon that He Wujiu brought back had a wild demonic aura visible to the naked eye, and it couldn't help but show its furry ears in the hall, so she shouldn't have to wait long.
I will probably choose tonight to do evil.
Mingyueyi did not hesitate.
"go."
