Chen Shuning raised his eyes and responded softly. "Okay."
Xu Xi sat next to Chen Shuning and took the tablet in her hands.
"Want a snack?"
Chen Shuning lowered his eyes and looked at the tablet. "No, I'll be asleep after reading for a while."
"Okay." Xu Xi agreed softly. It was almost 12 o'clock now, and it would be very late if she watched for a while longer.
Finally, after watching for an unknown amount of time, Xu Xi fell asleep. In a daze, she felt a warm hug, which was gentle and cautious. When she opened her eyes, she found herself lying on the bed. There was only a dim light in the room, and Chen Shuning gently pressed on her and hugged her.
Xu Xi asked in a low, sleepy voice, "Did I fall asleep just now?"
"Yeah." Chen Shuning kissed her forehead gently, then moved his gaze to her lips, kissed them again, and murmured, "Baby, I really like you, so much."
