Chapter 8 Little Little Cub, You Want a Fairy?

Lu Haotian listened to the reprimand in the room, thinking he had a rare three-month vacation.

As soon as he closed his eyes, his phone rang again.

The person making the call was none other than Wang Mingyu, the chief secretary of the chairman's office of the Lu Group.

When asked when he would arrive at headquarters, the old man explained that he had been ill recently and there was a backlog of documents that had not been approved, so it couldn't be delayed any longer.

If he is unable to come, as a qualified secretary, he will offer to deliver documents to his door.

Lu Haotian felt a lump in his throat, unable to breathe.

He accepted the inheritance because it would allow him to learn part of the truth about his parents' deaths.

But before the truth could even be investigated, one of the heirs broke his leg, and everything had to be put on hold.

They were forced to start working and take over the family business first.

Lu Haotian sneered inwardly.

Isn't it just that they squandered less than 50% of the Lu family's assets?

Even if the Lu family's assets are enormous, he can definitely handle it within three months!

With a gloomy face, Lu Haotian said in a deep voice to Wang Mingyu on the other end of the phone, "Okay, come over here. I'm at the villa now."

It would be best to bring all your recent files; I'll process them all directly.

Wang Mingyu thought to himself, "As expected of Old Master Lu's grandson, his ability to get things done is truly inherited from his ancestors."

A feeling of admiration welled up in my heart immediately.

He replied with even greater respect, "Yes, Mr. Lu."

Do you need anything else? I can bring it with me.

Lu Haotian: "No need."

Lu Haotian hung up the phone and lay down on the bed, feeling like a corpse.

Grandpa said that the reason his parents died was because they possessed something that monsters desperately wanted, which is why they tried to kill them.

Grandpa doesn't know the specifics either; if he wants to know the real reason, he'll have to find out for himself.

However, his grandfather told him that for safety reasons, he did not want him to investigate the truth of the matter.

He already lost his son, and he didn't want to lose his grandson as well.

But for Lu Haotian, a family of four went out to play and two died and one became a vegetable. As the only one who was still able to move, how could he not help them find out the truth?

Lu Haotian shielded his eyes with his arm and sighed deeply, feeling somewhat distressed.

"A monster?"

Where the hell are we supposed to find all of this?

Just as Lu Haotian was searching online for information about the term "monster," Lu Mengmeng quietly opened the door a crack.

She has just had a good self-reflection.

The tiny cub is still very young, not even a fraction of her age.

She needs to be more tolerant of him and not take everything so seriously!

Therefore, she should still take care of the tiny, fragile cubs that are easily injured.

Seeing that the little cub didn't chase her away, Lu Mengmeng happily ran to Lu Haotian's bedside.

Curious, I asked, "Little little cub, what are you looking at?"

Lu Haotian: "Cellphone."

Lu Mengmeng: ……

She felt as if she had been underestimated by the little cub.

She wasn't some country bumpkin who had just come out of the mountains; how could she not know that he was looking at his phone?

Lu Mengmeng puffed out her cheeks. Even if the little cub wouldn't let her see it, she would see it herself!

She started using a mobile phone at the same age as the world has had mobile phones!

Seeing that the little baby's phone was full of entries about "fairies," Lu Mengmeng blinked obediently.

Somewhat curious, he asked, "Little little cub, do you want a fairy?"
