Xie Lingyu and Yuwen Xian arrived at the Lanxie Palace, where all was quiet.
They entered silently and saw a woman in palace attire sitting gracefully on a soft chair at the head of the main hall.
Consort Lan.
Its bright and beautiful appearance is unforgettable at first glance.
Her pointed oval face, upturned phoenix eyes, and deep red lips resembling peach petals complemented her elegant and graceful demeanor.
Let alone men, even Xie Lingqin, as a woman, wanted to take a few more glances.

"Thank you, Your Highness." Xie Lingyu was so sweet-talking that she even skipped the formal address, showing how adept she was at flattery. She took a small sip from her exquisite teacup before putting it down.
However, Xie Lingqin looked at the tea...
"What's wrong? Don't you like it?" Consort Lan looked at Xie Lingqin and asked in a low voice, her tone polite and friendly.
"No, it's just that I wanted to smell the aroma of the tea a little longer."
"That little mouth of hers, it certainly knows how to talk..." Consort Lan tapped the teacup lid lightly, letting out a sigh, "It's been so many years since I've seen you..."

Upon seeing this, Yuwen Xian immediately stood up and stepped forward, raising his hand to pull Xie Lingqin back. However, his movements were far slower than Yu Qingyi's.
Yu Qingyi merely smiled faintly, then quickly pulled Xie Lingqin out of the hall. She turned around and teased Yuwen Xian with a raised eyebrow, "Hmph, I don't want to play with you, Consort Lan. I'm going to play with this little girl. I'll apologize to you next time."
As soon as the sound reached them, Yu Qingyi had already pulled Xie Lingqin away in a few quick steps.
Zihe followed closely behind.
We walked a long way.
Yu Qingyi then stopped and looked at her, "Quickly thank me, I just saved you."
"You mean there's something in that tea?" Xie Lingqin asked with a smile.
Yu Qingyi raised an eyebrow. "You figured it out."
Xie Lingqin glanced around, her voice slightly lowered, "Yuwen Xian used to want to stay as far away from me as possible. Even though we were engaged before, Consort Lan never wanted to see me. Now, I've only just entered the palace, and Yuwen Xian has already come. Consort Lan is still so polite to me. I'm afraid she has ulterior motives." As Xie Lingqin said this, a mocking smile appeared on her lips, "They want to ruin my reputation, don't they?"
Yu Qingyi hadn't expected Xie Faqin to have thought of this. The smile faded from his face, and a rare look of seriousness appeared in his peach blossom eyes. After a moment, he looked at Xie Lingqin's forehead and asked, "Who did this?"
"The Seventh Prince."
"I'll teach him a lesson for you."

Xie Lingqin paused, stunned. "What should I do?"
