Xu Shixun looked around and planned to go sleep on Xie Lingqin's other side, but after taking a step, he felt a pair of deep and sharp lights behind him, which made his spine tingle. He swallowed and turned around, and sure enough, he saw Old Dong looking at him in a sinister and cold light. His old but firm eyes were like a deep abyss that could suck people in.

"If you sleep next to her, you'll disturb her breathing."
That reason is just ridiculous.

She was still alive, right in front of him. This feeling of excitement, which no one else could share with him, made his chest feel like it was going to explode.
The once-powerful and unyielding spirit could crumble instantly before her, even at the mere presence of her aura.
"Cough cough..."
Suddenly, Xie Lingqin coughed softly, her shoulders shaking. The sound was like a lock, tightly fastening around herself and others.
Old Dong's hand finally fell naturally, gently patting her back.
One, two, three... gentle and just right, like a feather caressing the tip of the heart.
Even through the heavy cloak and the regret, he could almost feel the slender spine of the woman before him.
He clapped his hands gently, approaching her little by little. Then, he exerted force with his palm, a thin mist swirling within it, and whispered to Xie Lingqin, "Turn to your side, it will be more comfortable."
The voice was very soft, like a hypnotic murmur.
Xie Lingqin turned to the side in a daze.
With her black hair removed, her slender, snow-white face, as if baptized by holy water, collided with Old Dong's exceptionally powerful yet now more forlorn eyes.
Old Dong looked at it, then raised his hand...
A gentle breeze swept over Xu Shixun, making him, who was already fast asleep, seem to fall into an even deeper sleep.
Then Old Master Dong's hand landed on Xie Lingqin's face, his fingertips gently gliding over her soft cheeks, her delicate nose, her rosy lips, and her tightly furrowed brows even in her sleep.
