She wanted to find him and get back what the man in the black robe had left behind.

They took the same route as before, but Xu Yiran wouldn't allow Zihe to follow.
Helpless, Xie Lingqin had no choice but to have Zihe guard the big tree outside.

The two walked back to the suspension bridge they had crossed before.
This time, Xu Yiran and Xie Lingqin walked up one after the other. Just as Xie Lingqin was halfway up, Xu Yiran suddenly turned around, hugged Xie Lingqin tightly, and held him close in her arms.
The unfamiliar male presence struck Xie Lingqin, who instinctively rejected him.

Xie Lingqin looked down with a cold face and realized that compared to the last time she came, the faint flames under the suspension bridge had risen higher, pushing aside the swirling clouds and mist. Just now, they almost leaped up and burned her.
