Chapter 105 World Nine: Miller Base

The two of them swept around, and Shen Heyang even went out mysteriously to get something. When he came back, his wheat-colored skin was stained red.

"I picked out some clothes for you!" The man pointed to the clothes in his arms and explained loudly, trying to cover up his mistake, without caring whether the little zombie could understand him or not.

There were too many things, and Shen Heyang took several trips to move them all. Xu Nuo was stuffed into the passenger seat again, leaning against the car window to look at him, occasionally using his fingertips to control the flow of water, catching it with his mouth as if playing, entertaining himself and being quiet for a long time.

The roar of the engine sounded again, and the two drove forward aimlessly. After about another three hours, a large stone wall appeared in their sight, with the four big words "Miller Base" written in the middle.

"Do you want to come in, baby?" Shen Heyang tilted his head to look at him.

The boy seemed to be very curious, and his whole face was pressed against the car window, "Ah!"

As soon as the accelerator was stepped on to the bottom, Shen Heyang responded and drove straight towards the gate.

"Who are you? Stop the car!" There was a team of people at the door responsible for inspection. They were wearing heavy protective clothing and looked very funny.

Shen Heyang put the thick coat he had just brought back on Xu Nuo, revealing only half of his delicate face, and rolled down the car window.

"Dude, are people still allowed in the base?"

The leading man took a look at him. He was well-dressed and did not look like he was cold or hungry. He even had a heavy off-road vehicle.

"A person with superpowers?" the man asked cautiously.

"Yes," Shen Heyang answered readily, with crackling lightning emanating from his fingertips.

It was a lightning ability. The guard who had just checked it out relaxed visibly. "You need to register before entering the base. Don't worry, our base treats people with abilities very well."

His words sounded strange. After the apocalypse, there were indeed many places ruled by people with special abilities, and ordinary people became slaves without dignity. Shen Heyang instinctively felt disgusted.

"Who is this person in your car?" The guard saw that he looked worried and his voice trembled a little.

"I love people, ordinary people."

Xu Nuo seemed to know that he was being talked about, and he leaned his head forward a little. Although the car was dim, he could still tell that he was a delicate young man. The guards' eyes widened, but he was interrupted by Shen Heyang's impatient hum.

"Ordinary people... must be checked before entering!"

Shen Heyang cursed, "Who are you checking? I'm much stronger than all of you put together, get lost."

The guard was embarrassed, but he was also a coward, so he nodded and let him go. Then he ran away again, probably to report to his superiors.

"Baby, are you scared?"

The man seemed like a different person, his tone so gentle that water could drip out of it.

"Ah!" Xu Nuo responded, leaning over and rubbing the stubble on his chin.

Shen Heyang chuckled and connected lips with him.
