"Yes!" Xu Shi waved to the young man in the room and raised the exquisite gift box in his hand.
Over the past few years, Xu Nuo has grown from a spoiled little boy to a graceful young man. His omega characteristics have become more and more prominent, including his delicate skin, amazing talent and ability in music and performance, and the sweet fragrance that would emanate without the obstruction of the suppressant.
"Sister," Xu Nuo ran over and was hugged by the tall alpha sister.
After Xu Shi went to college, he traveled to other small planets, either on adventures or in the laboratory. He was rarely seen in a year.
Ever since Aaron's accident, Xu Nuo has been in a daze for a long time. He has smiled less and less sweetly, and has become more attached to his parents and brothers and sisters at home. The carefree young master suddenly understood the pain of separation overnight.
"Open it and take a look," Xu Shi handed the box in her hand to Xu Nuo's arms. The omega's slender white fingers were flexible and untied the ribbon on the box, revealing the flowers in the glass cover inside.
There aren't many kinds of flowers in the interstellar world, but they come in all shapes and colors, dazzlingly colorful. This is the first time Xu Nuo has seen a flower with all red petals. It's unexpectedly beautiful, its color like dried blood and a strong sunset, mysterious and elegant.
"This is a rose, a flower unique to Ancient Blue Star," Xu Shi explained. "There aren't many seeds left, so I only cultivated this one. Does Nuonuo like it?"
Xu Nuo held the flowers and nodded vigorously.
"On your eighteenth birthday, I promise to give you a better gift!"
Xu Nuo cherished the flower and kept it. When he had free time, he would stay on the small balcony and look at the flower, perhaps looking at the person in his memory through it.
Aaron knew a lot of things, like the interstellar library. He also liked the ancient blue star very much. The last gift Xu Nuo received from him was a hand cannon assembled by Aaron himself. It didn't have much lethality, but it was enough for self-defense.
If Aaron were still alive, he would probably be happy to see this flower from the ancient blue planet.
A flock of birds flew past the window, temporarily blocking out a lot of the sunlight. Xu Nuo subconsciously looked up, and could only see a little shadow of the birds flying across the sky. However, a pigeon broke away from the flock and circled endlessly above the sky.
Maybe it was an illusion, or maybe it was a psychological effect, but Xu Nuo seemed to see a hint of metallic light reflected by the pigeon's feet under the sunlight, as if there was a metal mailbox tied there.
Realizing what he was thinking, Xu Nuo shuddered unconsciously, stood up and stretched his neck to look over, but unfortunately the pigeon suddenly accelerated and flew away. Xu Nuo could only see its fluffy white feathers, and nothing else.
The boy didn't know that at the same time, ten thousand meters in the sky, an invisible airship was quietly hovering there. A man in pure black combat uniform was sitting on the deck. His helmet was taken off and thrown aside, revealing a head full of dark golden hair.
The pigeon was just being held in his hand, and the man easily took down the mailbox and opened it.
"Are you crazy, Neville?"
The red-haired man stood behind him, breathing heavily with frustration.
"Sorry," the man called Neville raised his head, revealing Aaron's face, but it lacked the tenderness of the past, and was only indifferent.
The owner opened the mailbox and took out a small piece of paper. No one knew it except Aaron, and there were only four simple words on it.
"I miss you so much"
"Aaron Schiller is dead," the big red man said, trying his best to control his emotions. "Don't forget your mission, Master Neville."
"Ben, inform everyone that we will shoot down the Empire's arms ship tonight."
"Do you have to act so radically?"
Aaron didn't answer, but muttered as if to himself, "He'll be eighteen soon."
In interstellar society, an omega from an aristocratic family will hold a grand coming-of-age ceremony on his eighteenth birthday. Families that are friendly with him will attend, and young alphas of marriageable age who are not married will also come.
After all, high-ranking omegas are so rare, and those young men are eager to attract the attention of omegas and win their favor like peacocks spreading their feathers. Over time, an unwritten rule has emerged: noble omegas are usually married to suitable alphas during their coming-of-age ceremony.
Ben knew what he meant and retreated helplessly. After all, their plan had been running almost flawlessly for a long time, and they just closed the net early.
Aaron was still sitting on the deck. The dedicated intelligent computer on his wrist flashed and showed several photos, including Xu Nuo reading a book, Xu Nuo sleeping on the balcony, and Xu Nuo sniffing a rose.
The person he had been dreaming about for ten years has grown up. He has grown up well, obedient, handsome, and with a hint of melancholy. It is obvious how crazy those alphas will be for him at his coming-of-age ceremony.
Aaron reached out to touch the projected light and shadows, his fingers passing through the cheeks of the people in the picture and pounced into the void.
A faint sigh was heard, and Aaron stood up again and walked back to the control room with a firm and ruthless look on his face.
