In midsummer, cicadas are chirping.
The freshmen who had just enrolled at University A were chattering and crowded at the registration point. There were a few tables set up under large umbrellas under the shade of trees, and several students wearing volunteer armbands were busy greeting the freshmen.
Xu Nuo was dragging a huge suitcase by himself, and the scorching sunlight made it difficult for him to open his eyes.
The boy's skin was glowing white, and his chestnut hair looked like it was coated with gold in the sunlight.
Jiang Sinian stood behind a tree outside the crowd, staring at the young man in the distance. The quiet and indifferent young man was not as calm as he appeared. Only he himself knew that under his meticulous white shirt, his heart was beating violently as if it was about to burst through his chest.
The focused gaze was really hard to ignore. Xu Nuo raised his head to look for the source of the gaze, and his eyes met Jiang Sinian's across the crowd.
666 was floating in the air, sometimes running to Jiang Sinian's ear and shouting, sometimes running to Xu Nuo and fluttering in front of him, but unfortunately, the two could neither see nor hear it.
"Xu Nuo! Nuo Nuo!"
Xu Nuo still maintained the same posture, looking intently into the eyes of the young man not far away. He had some impression of Jiang Sinian. Jiang Sinian's fingertips gently caressed his back. The touch was only a moment, but it was enough for him to savor it. He was very lucky to have successfully waited here and found his treasure.

The boy was very tall. Although he didn't look strong, he had broad shoulders and long legs. When Xu Nuo walked beside him, he felt that most of the sunlight was blocked, and his nose was filled with his pleasant scent.
Realizing what he was thinking, Xu Nuo's face suddenly turned red and he moved to the side uncomfortably.
"What's wrong?"
The boy's voice was still the same as before, cold and quiet.
Xu Nuo shook his head and changed the subject, "Senior, can I get it myself?"
Jiang Sinian didn't loosen his grip on the suitcase handle and continued to move forward. "It's okay, let's go."
The main entrance was some distance from the student dormitories, and the two of them walked in silence. Jiang Sinian, being naturally reserved, was even more speechless with Xu Nuo. Xu Nuo, on the other hand, felt somewhat awkward, occasionally trying to find a topic. Fortunately, the seemingly aloof senior beside him, though quiet, responded to every word, which made him feel a little more at ease.
"Senior, I think we went to the same high school..."
"right."
"Do you know me?" Xu Nuo was a little confused. He hadn't said which high school he was from. What if he recognized the wrong person?
"Yeah, I've seen you before."
"Oh oh," Xu Nuo laughed heartlessly again, "Then I'm quite proud. Senior, you used to be a big shot in high school. Many people around me liked you..."
Jiang Sinian listened quietly, and couldn't help but glance at him. The boy's beautiful eyes curved into crescents, like a kitten.
What about you? Jiang Sinian asked silently in his heart, do you like me too?
"Senior, why don't you speak?"
"Hmm? Sorry, I can't quite remember."
"It's okay..."
The young man started a new topic, but Jiang Sinian didn't ask what was in his mind after all.
