1. He can't beat Wu Weian.

2. Wu Weian has the leverage over him.

So the round-faced manager cut window paper-cuts for five days, and the anger in his heart was almost uncontrollable.

So he could only vent his anger by looking at Wu Weian's miserable appearance.

After venting his anger, the round-faced steward went to the kitchen and told Mrs. Du what Wu Weian meant.

Poison Lady looked at him with disdain: "He's so stingy that he won't die!"

Although she cursed, Poison Lady still kept a close eye on the chefs from the restaurant to make sure they didn't steal food.

After three rounds of wine, a large amount of wine was poured at the wedding banquet.

The prince's eyes were also red from drinking. He clinked his wine glass with Ji Mingxi's, drank it all in one gulp, and fell down.

Ji Mingxi's eyes remained clear as ever. He took a sip from his wine glass and watched the servants from the Prince's Mansion help the Prince back home.

Ji Mingshuang was also drunk and sat next to him, head held high and chest puffed out, not moving.

Ji Mingyan stood behind him, reaching out to shake Ji Mingshuang, and then shook Ji Mingshuang again. But no matter how Ji Mingyan shook him, Ji Mingshuang was like a tumbler, and would eventually recover his head held high and chest puffed out.

Ji Mingyan was amazed.

Ji Mingxi stood up and took his two younger brothers back.

Ji Mingyan pulled Ji Mingshuang, who was holding his head high, and followed his elder brother into the mansion.

Halfway through the walk, he suddenly remembered something, stopped, and slapped his head: "Brother, this is terrible!"

Ji Mingxi was startled by him: "What happened again?"

Ji Mingyan felt very regretful: "My brother-in-law was also drunk just now. I put him aside, intending to send him back later. But I forgot!"

The forgotten "drunk and unconscious" Wu Weian was now outside the bedroom.

At midnight, the noise in the front hall stopped and the Wu family became quiet.

The candlelight in the room was very bright, much brighter than usual. Wu Weian stood outside the door and watched, feeling a mixture of emotions.

When Wu Weian was four or five years old, he was taken around the world by his master.

At the same age, other children are still under the protection of their parents, just eating and drinking happily every day.

But Wu Weian already understood what life, death, livelihood and living were.

He has experienced and seen more than his peers, so his heart is naturally much older.

There are very few people whose problems can really make him feel emotional.

But at this moment, Wu Weian was really a little nervous.

After all, Wu Wei'an didn't think he would necessarily marry. Even if he did, it would probably be a long time before he did.

He didn't think that any woman would be attracted to him when he was so timid under his disguise.

But who would have thought that the first thing he did after arriving in the capital was to find a wife?

Things in this world are really unpredictable.

To be honest, he has always been used to being alone.

Even though he had four servants in his yard, most of the time, no one knew where he went, what he did, or whether he was in his room, and no one dared to interfere.

But from now on, things seem to be a little different?

Wu Weian even began to doubt whether his previous decision was right.

After all, life for one person is completely different from life for two people.

Wu Wei'an really enjoys his life alone, and his decision to get married was the result of careful consideration.

But now, he hesitated.

Wu Weian shook his head slightly, took a long breath, and pushed open the door.

Ji Yunxi had already finished washing up and was wearing a pink nightgown. She was sitting in front of the beauty bed, supporting her chin with one hand and writing and drawing on the quarterly report submitted by her subordinates with the other hand.

She had a wonderful figure, and sitting there, she looked like a blooming jade lotus. Her unmade-up face was full of seriousness.

Wu Wei'an subconsciously looked down at his groom's suit, then at his new wife's pink pajamas, before walking in and closing the door behind him, sighing softly, "Why did you even change your clothes?"

Logically, shouldn't she sit by the bed and wait for him to lift the red veil so that they can drink a cup of wedding wine together?

Ji Yunxi didn't even raise her head, her mind still on the pawnshop business, but she heard what he said and managed to spare a bit of her attention to answer him perfunctorily: "Pajamas are more comfortable at home."

"But tonight is our wedding." Wu Weian went over to pour himself a glass of water and looked at her. "I've never seen you in your wedding dress."

After all, she was wearing a red veil when he picked her up.

But now when he came back, her red veil was gone, her makeup was gone, and her clothes were changed. Everything was gone.

Ji Yunxi picked up a pen and started writing on the paper. After a while, she raised her head and asked, "What did you just say?"

Wu Weian sighed, and then sighed again: "Forget it, it's nothing."

Since he said so, Ji Yunxi didn't ask.

She had never been one to get to the bottom of things. She looked out at the night, put away her brush, ink, paper, and inkstone, and said, "Baofu and the others have already prepared the hot water. Go to the bathroom next door and wash up. It's late, and I'm sleepy."

Wu Wei'an: "Oh."

He took his pajamas, went to take a shower next door, and soon returned to the bedroom.

Ji Yunxi was sitting in front of the dressing mirror, applying makeup. Wu Weian could smell a faint fragrance as he approached.

He walked past without looking, holding something, then turned back and stopped when he saw the booklet next to him.

Wu Wei'an wiped his dripping hair with one hand and lifted the booklet with the other, asking casually, "What is this?"

The outside of the booklet was completely black with nothing written on it. It looked mysterious, like a martial arts secret book.

Ji Yunxi finished the last step of her skincare routine, stood up from the dressing mirror, yawned slightly, and walked towards the bed. Upon hearing this, she glanced sideways and replied, "Erotic painting."

Wu Weian: “…”

He looked at Ji Yunxi who had climbed onto the bed with a strange expression: "Why do you have this?"

Ji Yunxi spread out the quilt: "Mammy gave it to me."
