Chapter 20 Reminiscing about the Way of the Sword (Part 7)

Upon entering the Wanxi Sword Formation, one is greeted by a stone forest stretching for miles.

Each stone tablet is engraved with martial arts moves, so lifelike that each move seems to come alive.

"Is this the Wanxi Sword Technique?"

Gu Xi was amazed by these exquisite moves and carefully observed each step.

"Chu Yu, were all of these carved by Senior Yi?"

Hua looked at Chu Yu, who hadn't said a word since he came in.

"Looking at such a detailed breakdown of the moves, it seems to be the work of the god Yi Ke."

Chu Yu had just carefully examined these stone tablets, and every move on them was accurate, exactly the same as the Wanxi Sword Technique he had seen before!

Wan Ke, who had been studying the moves on the stone tablet, spoke up, "But didn't Shangshen Yi perish long ago?"

This is also something Gu Xi doesn't quite understand. This Primordial Chaos Secret Realm only appeared after the fall of the Supreme God Yi, so these sword techniques shouldn't have been inscribed by the Supreme God Yi.

But if it weren't for Shang Shenyi, who else would be so familiar with the Wanxi Sword Technique?

Looking at the seemingly endless stone forest, Gu Xi's doubts deepened. It seemed that this Primordial Chaos Secret Realm held an even greater secret!

"We'll know everything once we break this Wanxi Sword Formation!"

Seeing that Chu Yu didn't seem inclined to offer much explanation, Gu Xi and Wan Ke continued to focus their attention back on the sword techniques.

Just as Chu Yu said, once this Wanxi Sword Formation is broken, everything will become clear!

Hua pulled Chu Yu straight ahead, unable to carefully examine each of the sword techniques carved on the stone.

I picked out the interesting ones to look at. Compared to these carvings on stone, I was more eager to witness the true power of the Wanxi Sword Technique!

Since birth, what I've hated most is reading and other boring things.

Chu Yu never forced her to memorize things she wasn't interested in, since his Liao Liao didn't need any of that and could get everything she wanted!

Chu Yu strolled around as if he were on a spring outing, stopping and starting as he pleased.

Occasionally, when she sees a move that interests her, she will stop and practice it. If she doesn't understand something, she will ask Chu Yuxian to learn it and teach her. In any case, one of them is willing to teach and the other is willing to learn!

"Chu Yu, Chu Yu, this is so strange. It's clearly a killing move, but why do I feel like I'm not doing it right?"

Chu Yu was looking at the sword techniques on another stone tablet when he heard Hua ask, so he quickly came over.

I stood in the strange spot where the flowers were and looked at them again and again.

"This place is indeed a bit strange..."

He frowned and thought for a moment, then summoned the Sword of Compassion. "Liao Liao, stand back!"

After Hua retreated, he tried to imitate the sword moves carved on the stone tablet. He tried it twice, but it still felt strange!

This move was clearly an extremely dangerous killing move, yet it was strange. Chu Yu couldn't quite figure out what was wrong with it. Could it be that the sword move itself was wrong?

"How about it?"

Chu Yu shook his head.

"I also found it very strange just now. This move is clearly a finishing move, but it also seems to contain..."

She couldn't think of a suitable word for a moment, and then she and Chu Yu exchanged a glance.

"vitality!"

"vitality!"

Hua looked at Chu Yu excitedly, "It is said that when Shang Shenyi created the Regretful Sword Technique, he left a sliver of hope amidst layers of deadly moves. Could this be it?!"

Chu Yu's expression was much calmer than Hua's, but some of the emotions in his eyes still betrayed him.

"This is probably it. Liao Liao is indeed clever, managing to find a way out even under such a brilliant and deadly attack."

"Of course! Don't you know who I am? I'm a little goddess of the divine race!"

Chu Yu chuckled, "You're really not modest at all!"

"That's right, don't they know who our Liao Liao is? She's the most revered little goddess in the entire Four Seas and Eight Desolations and Six Realms!"

Chu Yu smiled and continued the conversation.

Hua feigned shyness and lowered her head, but after a moment she opened her big eyes and looked at Chu Yu again.

"Anything else? Anything else? I love hearing you praise me like this, Chu Yu!"

Chu Yu smiled and tapped her, "Life as a god is long, we should leave some things for later, right?"

He pretended to think, even nodding seriously, with a considerate expression.

"That's right, let's keep it then!"

He then continued to look at the sword techniques on the stone tablet.

"Chu Yu, you're saying that this move, comparable to the strongest killing technique in the Wanxi Swordplay, actually contains a hidden life force? Does Shangshen Yi want them to be destroyed or to live?"

"I'm afraid it's both; isn't that what it means to find a way out of a desperate situation?!"
