Chapter 201 Yongheng (Part 9)

Wan Ke avoided Tu Er's gaze and did not answer.

Tu Er, unusually emotionally distraught, grabbed Wan Ke's arm, forcing her to look at him. Tu Er's eyes were bloodshot as he repeated, word by word, "I'm asking you! Wan Ke! Are you worried about me? If I were to die like this, would you shed tears for me?!"

Tu Er stubbornly wanted an answer, and Wan Ke had nowhere to avoid it. The feigned indifference in her eyes finally cracked, and her beautiful eyes became moist.

"What's the point of asking these questions? Does my appearance matter, Tu'er?! You made your choice seventy thousand years ago."

Tu Er slowly slid his hand off Wan Ke's arm and stepped back, returning to the distance between them at the beginning. His voice was barely audible: "I crossed the line. Let's go, let's get out."

Wan Ke's eyes quickly regained their calm, and the sea returned to its tranquil state.

What happened inside is unknown to those outside. Several people could only wait outside, taking this opportunity to quickly awaken Yongheng.

They tried many methods, but none of them worked.

"Chu Yu, we've tried everything, but Yong Heng still hasn't woken up, and neither have Tu Er and Sister Wan Ke. Will they be alright?"

As she spoke, Hua unconsciously shook the Heart-Controlling Bell on her wrist, looking somewhat dejected.

"Click".

What was that sound?

Hua looked up and asked Chu Yu, who took her hand and said, "It seems like something is cracked."

Before they could figure out what was breaking and making the sound, they heard a series of cracking sounds around them. When they turned around, they saw that the people who had been frozen earlier had automatically shattered into ice blocks as they approached.

The ice cubes fell to the ground and melted into puddles of water.

The ice shattered very quickly. Hua looked anxiously at Tu Er, who was still frozen, and tugged at Chu Yu's sleeve: "Chu Yu, Tu Er hasn't recovered yet, what should we do?"

Judging by the speed at which it's spreading, it will reach Tu Er in no more than half a moment.

The constant clicking sounds only added to the tension.

Chu Yu held Hua's hand tightly and comforted her, "Liao Liao, don't worry, Wan Ke will bring Tu Er out."

Wan Ke's gaze at Tu Er was so adorable that this silly girl couldn't see it clearly; the love in her eyes was practically overflowing.

Although Wan Ke was unaware of the current situation outside, how could she bear to waste time going to save her loved one?

Hua had always unconditionally trusted Chu Yu's words; she would believe him even if he said the sun was black. However, with Tu Er and Wan Ke inside, she couldn't help but feel a little worried.

Hua was so concerned about Tu Er and Wan Ke's safety that she didn't notice Yong Heng behind her slowly opening his eyes.

When the ice shattered and reached Tu'er's area, Hua's heart was in her throat.

"Bang!"

Fortunately, Tu Er regained his mobility at the critical moment and flew to Hua's side in time.

"Yongheng, what are you doing?!"

But before Tu Er could even stand up straight, she saw Yong Heng holding a long sword to Wan Ke's neck.

They turned around immediately upon hearing Tu Er's voice.

"Yongheng, what are you doing?! Let go of Sister Wanke!"

"Yong Heng?!"

Even little Monchi was so angry that his eyes widened.

The sudden turn of events caught everyone off guard.

Of the group, only Chu Yu remained calm and silent, secretly observing Yong Heng's condition. Yong Heng was clearly not normal. Chu Yu noticed that his eyes were vacant and his body was abnormally stiff.
