Chapter 177 Praying to the Goddess (Part 1)

The others weren't laughing because they were mocking Hua, but because they felt that Hua's genuine personality was rare.

So many years have passed and they've all changed. They have countless things to think about every day, but Hua remains so innocent, something they've long since lost.

The fact that Hua could maintain such a mindset after experiencing life and death is something they cannot match. The gods and Chu Yu took good care of her.

The next morning, when Hua arrived at the courtyard, she saw an uninvited guest. "Tu Er, what are you doing here? Didn't you go back to the Demon Realm?"

Hua looked at Tu Er, who was sitting opposite Chu Yu, with surprise. "I'll come to find you when I'm done with this."

"But seriously, you're incredibly lazy. It's almost noon and you're only now coming out of your room."

"Mind your own business. You're so good with words, humph." Hua rolled her eyes at Tu Er, then sat down next to Chu Yu and naturally took the teacup from Chu Yu's hand and took a sip.

"Chu Yu, this is too bitter!" Hua complained softly to Chu Yu with a pained expression and her little tongue sticking out. Chu Yu casually unwrapped a candy, pinched it between his fingers, and put it into Hua's mouth.

While Hua Hua was rolling up the candy, the tip of her tongue accidentally brushed against Chu Yu's fingertip. She was oblivious and didn't notice, but Chu Yu's eyes darkened almost instantly. His deep gaze was fixed on Hua Hua's pouty, moist lips as she ate, and his Adam's apple bobbed slowly.

Hua didn't notice, but Tu Er, who was sitting opposite Chu Yu, saw it clearly and felt a sense of schadenfreude as he looked at the oblivious Hua.

Chu Yu, so what if you're a god? So what if you have a divine partner? She's clueless and oblivious to everything. Just wait and see.

Tu Er's gaze was so obvious that even the flowers noticed something was wrong, let alone Chu Yu. Chu Yu coughed lightly and looked at Tu Er, "Tu Er, while it's still early, go down and check on the situation of the River of Oblivion."

"Huh? I haven't rested for days and nights in order to keep up with the journey. Sir, could you please find someone else?" Tu Er looked at Chu Yu with a bitter face, but he wasn't a flower, so of course it was no use.

In the end, he could only leave under Chu Yu's gaze. As he left, his eyes were filled with resentment. Was it really necessary? He was just thinking about it, and now he couldn't even think about it anymore?

"Oh, is someone here?" Wan Ke and Mo Qi had just returned from outside with Xiao Mengqi and only saw Tu Er's back from afar, not knowing who it was.

"Yes, it's Tu Er." Hua said casually. After speaking, she didn't wait for a reply and looked at Wan Ke. She saw Wan Ke standing there in a daze, not even noticing that she had dropped what she was holding.

Mo Qi picked up the things on the ground and led Little Mengqi inside.

"Sister Wanke, what's wrong?" Hua gently waved her little hand in front of Wanke a few times. "Nothing."

Wan Ke snapped out of her daze, looked at Hua Qing's concerned expression, and chuckled, "I'm really fine, Liao Liao, you don't need to worry."

"Sister Wanke, do you not want to see Tu Er?"

Wan Ke hadn't expected Hua to ask so bluntly. In that instant, she couldn't hide any of her emotions. Not daring to look into Hua's eyes, she could only force herself to remain calm and say, "No, how could that be? Liao Liao, don't overthink it. I'll go change my clothes first."

Hua looked at Wan Ke, who was walking past her with her head down, somewhat confused. She then looked at Chu Yu, who was sitting calmly to the side, with her big eyes and asked, "Chu Yu, what's wrong with those two?"

Chu Yu pulled the person to his side, half-hugging her, and said, "Liao Liao, everyone has things they don't want to talk about. Let them solve their own problems. Are you hungry?" As he spoke, Chu Yu picked up a piece of pastry and put it into Hua's mouth.

He quickly forgot about it.
