Chapter 9 Soul-Devouring Beast (Part 8)

"I remember now, you're the fairy who told me to be nice before, right?"

"I'm so scared."

Hua looked at Qingwu with her eyes crinkled into crescents.

"you."

Qingwu gripped her sword tightly, wishing she could slash Hua's smug, smiling face, but the impression Hua had left on her last time was too deep, making her dare not act rashly.

Qingwu turned to the man in front of her and said respectfully, "Your Highness, this woman is truly arrogant, daring to speak so disrespectfully to you!"

Qingwu's original intention was to use the man to teach Hua a lesson, but the man said, "It was my fault for not disciplining her properly. I hope you won't hold it against her."

After delivering the warning, he glanced at Qingwu.

What an idiot!

She has no sense at all. They didn't even teach her a lesson, which is already a sign of leniency. It's laughable that she's still trying to be clever!

It's only because her mother, the immortal Qingyi, still had some leeway that things went smoothly...

Upon hearing the man's words, Qingwu instantly sheathed all her sharp edges and obediently retreated to the back.

"You're quite an interesting little fairy. What's your name?"

"My name is Gu Xi. May I ask how you are addressed, young lady?"

Hua glanced at Chu Yu beside her, and Gu Xi followed Hua's gaze to look at her side.

Although he didn't want to admit it, he had a strong intuition at first glance that he would probably never be able to get past the man in front of him in his entire life!

Hua turned her head and said to Gu Xi, "Just call me Hua."

Gu Xi said softly, "Okay, it's spent."

"Then I'll call you Gu Xi, Gu Xi."

Hua felt that this prince of the celestial realm was very different from the few celestial beings she had ever met. Perhaps it was because he had just fought to the death, which made her look at him differently.

While they were having a lively conversation, Chu Yu's expression wasn't very pleasant.

Tu Er and Wan Ke watched as Chu Yu's face gradually darkened and his aura grew colder, so they slightly distanced themselves from him.

It's safer to stay away!

Chu Yu's mind had already gone through countless twists and turns, but Hua hadn't thought that far ahead at all.

As someone who's obsessed with looks, she simply thought this celestial prince was incredibly handsome, the second most handsome man in the entire Six Realms, after Chu Yu!

Hua turned around and saw Chu Yu's slightly gloomy expression, but she didn't care. Anyway, Chu Yu often had this expression, and she was used to it.

"Alright, it's time to go, otherwise we don't know when the next opportunity will come!"

Indeed, they waited for six days before that thing finally showed itself, and they couldn't afford to miss the opportunity! They had to kill it in one fell swoop this time! Otherwise, if it escaped, it probably wouldn't reappear for a while.

Hua looked at Wan Ke and Tu Er beside her, "Sister Wan Ke, do you want to come with us?"

Wan Ke looked at Tu Er and replied, "We'll go with you. My master and I also want to see what it's like and gain some experience!"

Now that he's in the Primordial Chaos Realm, Tu Er won't hold back! The blood of demons is naturally filled with bloodlust and a thirst for war, so how could he be willing to turn back now!

Now that he's come to this Primordial Chaos Realm, he won't back down easily!

"Gentlemen, would Gu Xi be willing to come along?"

"Your Highness, you've already been injured. Going there now might be dangerous!"

"There's no need for Fairy Qingwu to remind me; I know what I'm doing!" Qingwu wanted to persuade him further, but seeing his obviously cold expression, she stepped back and remained silent.

Gu Xi turned around and looked at the heavily injured immortal behind her.

"All of you immortals may rest here and do not need to go any further. Once you have recovered, you may leave on your own. This Primordial Chaos Realm is full of opportunities, so you do not need to follow me."

The other members of the immortal clan who had originally intended to persuade them further immediately gave up on the idea.

Following the Crown Prince of the Immortal Realm is certainly safer, but it also means missing out on opportunities. After all, who among those who come to this Primordial Chaos Secret Realm isn't a chosen one of heaven, and who doesn't want to gain an opportunity to advance further?

Seeing that the immortals had calmed down, Gu Xi turned her gaze back to Chu Yu, who was clearly in charge.

"In that case, let's go together."

After saying that, Chu Yu took the lead and walked forward with Hua. Now that they were going to go deep into the forest, flying would not be safe enough. Not only would they miss a lot of subtle movements, but flying in the sky would make them a sitting duck!

So the five of them had to walk there. This wasn't a big deal for them, but Hua looked at Gu Xi, who was a few steps behind.

"Gu Xi, are you alright?"

"It's alright, I..." Gu Xi smiled, her face pale.

Before he could finish speaking, Tu Er suddenly retorted, "Don't worry about spending it! He's the Crown Prince of the Immortal Realm, he has plenty of stuff on him. Those old fogies of the Immortal Clan wouldn't want their Crown Prince to be buried in this Primordial Chaos Secret Realm!"

After a moment's thought, it made sense; Gu Xi was indeed the Crown Prince of the Immortal Clan, but...

"Tu Er, why are you saying that in such a strange way? Although the Demon and Immortal races are sworn enemies, now that we're acting together, we can settle any grudges or grievances once we're out of the Primordial Chaos Secret Realm!"
