"Father, are you referring to Princess Yuening's affair with someone at the princess's residence?" Lu Junyuan didn't hide the fact that he knew about it.
"Oh, you know?" Now it was Lu Hong's turn to be a little surprised.
"I know, I went to the princess's residence and saw it with my own eyes," Lu Junyuan said calmly.
"But do you know that she injured her body as a result, suffered severe bleeding, and was unable to have children again?"
Lu Junyuan was slightly taken aback, then smiled faintly, "My son was unaware of this matter; it can be considered retribution."
Lu Hong sighed, "Yuan'er, I'm sorry to have wronged you."
"Father, it's alright." Lu Junyuan didn't care at all. As long as the important matter could be accomplished, what did this matter matter?
He simply won't touch that kind of woman.
"The Empress Dowager has replaced all the servants in the Princess's residence and sent people to investigate what happened."
Lu Junyuan narrowed his eyes slightly. His father's words, "replace all the servants," meant that dozens more innocent souls had been lost in the Princess's mansion.
Empress Dowager Wu has always been ruthless, and this is something she would do to protect Yuening's reputation.
"Today, the Emperor was reprimanded by the Grand Tutor for practicing swordsmanship. Upon returning to the palace, he killed two eunuchs. How can such a tyrannical person be a good ruler?" Lu Hong sighed.
“Father, dawn will break.” A resolute look flashed in Lu Junyuan’s eyes; he was determined to avenge his mentor.
"Any news about the Red Jade Pearl?"
"The messenger sent by the others said that someone saw this pearl in Bei Li. I have already sent people to Bei Li to search for it, and I expect to hear back soon. However, if what Madam Jiang said is true, I am certain that Dap is the person we are looking for."
"I hope so."

As night fell, two masked men dressed in black jumped down from the wall of the Prime Minister's residence.
Su Ruojin had already scattered medicinal powder along the way. This powder looked just like the dust on the ground and had no smell, so ordinary people couldn't tell the difference at all.
Su Ruojin couldn't do that either, so she gently took out the little cat from her arms and said, "Mao Mao, lead the way."
Mao Mao let out a soft "Woof~", twitched its little nose, sniffed left and right, and stretched out its little paw to point in a certain direction.
Su Ruojin and Xiao Yanchu followed the direction Mao Mao pointed out, dodging the guards in the mansion, and soon arrived at a wall in the backyard.
Mao Mao continued to point stubbornly at the wall.
Su Ruojin naturally believed that Mao Mao wouldn't point randomly, so it seemed there was something wrong with the wall.
She looked around and then saw a pile of inconspicuous rough stones in the corner.
Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that there was a larger stone in the middle of the rubble. Gently rotating the stone caused the wall to move.
The two walked down the steps behind the wall. The bend they turned felt very similar to the daytime, and Su Ruojin knew she had come to the right place.
After climbing the winding steps, you come to a small courtyard with only three rooms, one of which has a strong smell of medicine.
Su Ruojin and Xiao Yanchu exchanged a glance, and then cautiously walked towards the room.
Just as Su Ruojin touched the door, a sword suddenly thrust at her. Xiao Yanchu reacted quickly, pulling Su Ruojin back and drawing his sword to parry the attack.
Unexpectedly, the man attacked again. By the dim light of the fire, Su Ruojin saw that the man's face was covered by a black veil, but his eyes were so familiar.
"Yuan Hong!"
Su Ruojin called out directly, and the person who came paused, stopped what they were doing, and looked at Su Ruojin in disbelief, "Sister Jin!"
Yuan Hong ripped off her veil and stared wide-eyed.
