Then, more than a dozen ships appeared around the Xiaohai.
Compared to the Xiaohai, these boats look like small fishing boats, with one of them appearing relatively larger.
Each ship was filled with samurai dressed similarly to Musashi and his companion.
Some were holding long swords and pointing them at the Xiaohai, while others were drawing their bows and arrows.
Someone on board shouted towards the Xiaohai, "Who goes there?"
On the ship, Xiao Yanchu had already had Musashi and the other man brought over. The two men shouted to the other side, "We're on the same side! We've brought back the doctor from the other side of the sea!"
A samurai emerged from the larger ship, dressed in a dark blue samurai uniform, the fabric of which was clearly far superior to that worn by Musashi and his companion.
Upon seeing this person, Musashi and his companion quickly bowed and greeted him with utmost respect, saying, "Lord Takeuchi."
The other party looked at the large ship in front of them with some shock in his eyes, and then said arrogantly, "Tie them up."
Musashi was taken aback. Couldn't Lord Takeuchi see that?
Are these people people you can tie up yourself?
They were lucky to be able to return to Yamato.
Musashi looked somewhat troubled. "My lord, they've come to help the general with his medical treatment. It wouldn't be good to tie them up."
Takeuchi Gohei cursed angrily, "Damn it, they are the people who are supposed to treat the general. How can we not investigate them thoroughly? What if they murder the general? Who will be responsible?"
Tell them that if they don't submit obediently, they won't be going back alive!
Takeuchi Gohei figured the other party must not understand Yamato, so he asked Musashi to relay the message.
So what if the ship is big? This is Yamato land, what does he have to be afraid of?
Su Ruojin glanced at Musashi. When did she agree to treat the Yamato general?
However, I guessed Musashi's purpose. He knew I understood Japanese, yet he still lied to my face. I can only say he had a strong will to survive.
I'd rather lie to her face than tell the truth to this Takeuchi guy.
To treat the Shogun?
Thinking of the strange illness Musashi had mentioned before.
Hmm, it doesn't seem like a bad idea. She'd like to see what this strange illness is all about.
Xiao Yanchu then spoke up, "Takeuchi, is it? If you want to kidnap us, why don't you try it yourself?"
Takeuchi was taken aback and looked at Xiao Yanchu. The other party was dressed in a dark gold robe, the material, pattern, and weave of which he had never seen before.
What surprised him even more was that the other person could speak Japanese. Although some of the pronunciations were not quite standard, he could still understand what they meant.
Who are you?
Su Ruojin whispered two words: "See a doctor."
Xiao Yanchu understood and said, "Wasn't it your Shogun who was seriously ill and sent someone to invite the Great Chu Divine Physician to treat him? I never expected that you Yamato would treat the person who came to save his life in this way."
Upon hearing this, Musashi glanced gratefully at Xiao Yanchu.
He had been living in constant fear, afraid that Xiao Yanchu and the others would expose his lies, which would mean certain death for him.
Musashi was unaware that if he hadn't been needed to lead the way, he would have been dead long ago, given the crimes he had committed against the people of Da Chu.
Upon hearing Xiao Yanchu's words, Takeuchi no longer cared about being surprised that he could speak Japanese.
The general's serious illness is the most important thing in all of Yamato right now, and these people really came to treat the general.
Takeuchi didn't dare to make a decision on his own. He whispered a few words to the person next to him, and the person nodded.
A moment later, a pigeon flew off the boat.
Seeing this, Su Ruojin guessed that they were going to inform the people in the shogunate.
"Musashi, what city did we land in? Which city is your general in?" Su Ruojin asked.
Musashi hurriedly replied, "The place where we land is the general's residence, Akakane Castle. It takes about two hours by sedan chair to get to the general's inner castle, or half an hour by horse."
Musashi had received a lot of "careful treatment" from the Dali Temple jailers in Da Chu, so he dared not have any other thoughts about Su Ruojin and the others now.
He really didn't want to go through that experience again.
