Chapter 16:2-5

The group walked into Jingnian, and everyone in the hall couldn't help but look over. Emperor Shen's appearance was already beyond measure, and now he had a glowing little follower by his side. The combination of the two was eye-catching.

Nina took two or three steps back inconspicuously, putting some distance between herself and the two people in front of her. Her boss's expression had not improved since what happened in the cutie's apartment just now. Now that he had finally smiled a little, she didn't want to rush into trouble.

But Grant beside her was still foolishly trying to step forward and hold the boy's arm. Nina was about to cry because of this big stupidity.

She grabbed Grant and said, "Grant, come with me to choose the layout style of the shooting location."

"Ah?" Grant looked at the two people who had already walked away, touched the back of his head and had to agree, "Oh, okay."

He hadn't had the chance to express his bold idea yet.

Finally, there were no annoying people around him. The corners of Shen Zhe's mouth curled up slightly, and he turned back into the actor who made people feel like spring breeze.

"Um, um, Mr. Shen."

The arc of Shen Zhe's mouth became even bigger. If he remembered correctly, this was the second time that this shy little quail took the initiative to call for help?

"What's the matter?" Emperor Shen turned his head and looked at the little quail beside him.

This time the little quail raised its head and looked at him, blinking its big eyes, which was so cute that it was unfair. He had to try his best to make his expression look calm.

It's easy to control facial expressions.

"Thank you."

This time the thanks went much smoother, the boy's attitude was much more natural, and even his emotions were very sincere.

But Shen Zhe always felt that something was wrong.

"Who are you thanking?"

Wei Xicheng lowered his head, Qi Chen didn’t understand the meaning of Shen Zhe’s words.

Everything went dark before his eyes. Shen Zhe had already taken two steps forward and stood in front of him. The man blocked part of the light, so that he was completely shrouded in the man's shadow. He could hold him in his arms with just one hand.

Wei Xicheng rolled his eyes in his heart, thinking what a mess he was thinking.

"Or rather, who do I remind you of?"

The view in front of him brightened up. It turned out that after Shen Zhe finished speaking, he stepped back. He watched Shen Zhe press the privilege elevator button, walked in, and pressed the close door button.

"As an artist of Jingnian, you have to know that you should always set high standards for yourself. For such an obvious mistake, the entertainment reporter can write 18 versions for you."

"You have enough black history. I won't care about the previous ones, but if you still can't restrain yourself after you join Jason Nian, I won't sign you."

Wei Xicheng looked at the elevator door slowly closing in front of him, and in his heart, a horse was happily passing by.

He really wanted to point at the actor Shen's nose and ask him, "We are all eating from the same mouth, is it necessary? Who doesn't have a past? Huh?! Who else has so many entertainment reporters? They spend all day speculating on the eyes of a 180-line unknown person like him?

But, no.

Qi Chen would just stand there, his eyes red, and then accept it silently.

Shen Zhe stayed alone in the elevator, looking at his own shadow reflected on the bright elevator wall, and holding his heart.

He looked at the shadow that was doing the same action as him, familiar yet unfamiliar. He was stunned for a moment, then laughed softly.

Wei Xicheng was wondering whether to go back to find Nina and Grant when he saw the exclusive elevator in front of him reopened.

The man in a neat suit stretched out his hand and pulled him into the elevator.

Is this person sick?

After five seconds, the elevator door did not open again, and the people in the hall were in an uproar.

Wei Xicheng really didn't want to know what people would talk about.

But the center of this hall is hollow! As he walked along the circular corridor on the third floor, he could clearly see groups of people downstairs mumbling to each other.

Words like "boss", "newcomer", "romantic" and so on kept drilling into his ears, and he couldn't block them out even if he wanted to.

So loud. Haha, aren't you afraid of being fired?

Wei Xicheng raised his eyelids and glanced at the man who was walking in front of him. What's so great about being a movie emperor? If he was still in the original world, he would be a movie emperor sooner or later.

"Come in and take a look."

This should be a lounge. The space is not small. In Wei Xicheng's opinion, it is at least twice as big as his basement bedroom.

The dark blue gauze curtains swayed gently in the breeze in front of the huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The sunlight shone through the curtains and reflected circles of blue halos on the wall. The whole room seemed to be placed at the bottom of a sparkling lake.

A soft and elegant fabric sofa is placed in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, facing the ultra-wide-screen TV on the wall.

There is a huge mirror on the other wall, next to the mirror is a huge wardrobe, and looking further to the side is an exquisite and simple dressing table, and there is even a small bathroom inside.

Damn it. Wei Xicheng thought to himself, this is exactly his ideal private lounge.

"Do you like it?"

Shen Zhe did not miss the flash of light in the child's eyes when he came in.

No one would dislike such a decoration. Wei Xicheng nodded. He not only liked it, but was extremely moved.

"Yes." Shen Zhe handed the room card in his hand to the little quail who didn't dare to move around casually, "From now on, this will be your private lounge. You can come here to discuss the script with your agent, study acting skills, and take a break."

Wei Xicheng stared at the room card in his hand, staring blankly at Shen Zhe who was standing at the door.

Is this what people often say about how stupid people are and how fast they make money? Wei Xicheng felt that these three words were clearly written on the forehead of Mr. Shen.

Under the child's "emotional" gaze, Shen Zhe adjusted his posture uncomfortably, and secretly exerted force on his limbs as if he was posing for a photo, making his figure look more upright and slender.

After posing, Emperor Shen felt that this was too stupid, and he coughed lightly, "Let's go."

"Oh." Wei Xicheng put the room card into his pocket and tapped it carefully.

This little gesture made Shen Zhe feel warm in his heart, as he cared so much about the gift he gave.

——————————

Nina had been smiling since she went to Wei Xicheng's apartment to pick him up in the morning. She said that in all the years she had been in this industry, she had never seen such a good talent, except for the actor Shen who became famous when she just started to make some progress.

In just one week of training, Wei Xicheng has used practical actions to deepen Nina's understanding that the previous company packaging and agents are rubbish.

Nina smiled and touched the face of the boy next to her. Not to mention his strength, just looking at his little appearance is enough to melt people's hearts.

What's wrong with being quiet? His shy appearance is more inspiring... ahem.

After spending the past few days together, Wei Xicheng got used to Nina's occasional tantrums. Sometimes he thought that Nina and Grant were really good friends and had similar personalities.

"Let's go my little cutie, Grant has been excited all day yesterday."

The lady's professional black high heels made a crisp sound as they stepped on the smooth marble floor.

Everyone who was still busy in the studio immediately looked at the main character of today. Nina was wearing a black professional suit and had a strong aura. The boy standing next to her, who was about the same height as her, blushed and turned his head away uncomfortably to avoid looking at Nina.

Shen Zhe's assistant was standing in the observation room upstairs, and he couldn't help but wipe the cold sweat from his forehead.

Everyone knows that the guy below is his boss's treasure. Before he even officially signed the contract, he already got the best lounge, which is prepared for the next best actor.

Now looking at the appearance of the two people below, I wonder if that little girl Nina has done anything to them.

The assistant thought secretly while looking at the boss sitting in front of him, who looked very calm.

Wei Xicheng walked to the center of the venue and bowed to the staff in various positions without saying any polite words.

Grant was already standing in front, holding a camera.

Originally, only one photographer was needed for this shoot, but Grant insisted on adding multiple cameras to continuously shoot during the stills shooting, and even asked a director to pay attention to the multi-camera images, just to not miss any beautiful moments. He stood in the front with the camera, the main host position.

"Are you ready, sweetheart?" Grant shouted loudly, raising his hand and waving at Wei Xicheng on the field.

Wei Xicheng looked at his camera and nodded.

All other skills were acquired in post-production, but when it comes to dealing with the lens's own posture, no one is more skilled than him.

The filming off the field was in full swing, and Wei Xicheng's performance was beyond everyone's expectations. When he entered Jingnian, it was not that no one had dug up some negative information about him. There were so many negative things about him that they were too numerous to count.

But because of this, the entertainment reporters don't have much expectations for him. When this shoot is over, the boy will definitely amaze everyone.

Nina knew this very well. She looked at the young man who was like a fish in water on the field, and looked forward to the day when he would shine and shock everyone.

"Sweetheart?" Shen Zhe placed his hand on the armrest of the chair and rubbed it slowly.

The assistant silently lit a candle for Grant in his heart.

Others didn't know, so how could he not know? His boss had been very busy these days, flying around for several meetings just to spare time today to watch the photo shoot of this little darling.

First it was Nina, then Grant, they stepped on their boss's trap step by step. He could already foresee how miserable these two would become.

As he was thinking about this, he saw the boss suddenly stand up and walk down the stairs in two quick steps.

Only then did he notice that the usually bustling studio seemed suddenly unusually quiet, and before he could stretch his neck to take a look, he was nailed to the spot by a look from his usually "gentle" boss.
