Chapter 26:3-6

In a simple and empty room, Sean placed his heavy sword in a black wooden box. Samuel didn't like to see these weapons.

He wiped the sweat from his neck and body. Today's training was a little too intense and he felt very tired.

Five years have passed since he and Samuel came to Salo City. Ever since the night Samuel asked him if he wanted to become an excellent blood hunter, he has been spending every day in overloaded training.

Sean fumbled out a thin black hairband from under the pillow. It was the one that Samuel was wearing when he first met him.

Five years is enough time to change a lot of things and allow people to perceive a lot of details.

He gradually realized that Samuel was not living in Salo without a purpose. During these five years, Samuel traveled to all the towns within a hundred miles of Salo, and not just once. He seemed to be looking for someone.

Very important person.

Sean clenched the headband in his hand, his heavy breathing gradually calmed down. The excellent bloodline of his father's family had greatly improved his physique, and both his endurance and self-healing abilities were very strong.

But it's not enough, he needs to get stronger.

The sky outside the window gradually brightened. Sean jumped out of bed. It was almost time for Samuel to come back, and he needed to prepare breakfast for Samuel today.

He walked to the cabinet, took out a clean glass, and a sharp knife appeared in his hand. He slid it without hesitation, and bright red blood dripped into the transparent glass.

As his strength increased, Samuel's demand for his blood became less and less. Now he only needed to provide two cups of fresh blood in the morning and evening every day, which was enough to keep Samuel from feeling hungry.

After seeing that the amount of blood in the cup was almost enough, he removed the fingers that were squeezing the wound, and the scar on his wrist disappeared at a speed visible to the naked eye, leaving only a shallow mark.

Sean looked at it with some regret. He knew that the faint scar would disappear before Samuel saw it.

He picked up the wine glass and kissed the rim gently. The scent of the purebred blood hunter was very tempting to the vampires, which prevented Samuel from noticing the marks he left on the rim of the glass.

Hearing a slight noise from the door of the next room, Sean walked out with a glass of wine in his hand.

"Samuel."

Wei Xicheng sat in the room, listening to the somewhat low voice coming from outside the door, and he couldn't help but hold his forehead. Two years ago, this child refused to call him sir, maybe it really gave him the illusion that he had a good temper?

"Come in." Wei Xicheng could smell the sweet scent in the air through the door.

When Sean came in, Wei Xicheng was stunned when he saw him clearly. Unknowingly, the skinny child had grown into an adult man. His tall and burly figure blocked the little light coming in from the window, and the room, which already had poor light transmission, became even darker because of his entry.

"Sean, it looks like you've been training well recently." Wei Xicheng smiled, took the glass from Sean's hand, and dipped his tongue in the delicious taste in the glass.

"Yes, very good." Sean's eyes were bright, like a nocturnal animal hiding in the dark forest glowing when facing its prey.

Sean's progress was indeed rapid. When the two met, even Wei Xicheng himself could vaguely feel the instinctive resistance and vigilance from his body.

The Blood Hunters and the Vampires are mortal enemies.

Wei Xicheng put down his wine glass and squinted his eyes to look at Sean. "Sean, your coming-of-age ceremony is coming soon, right?"

"Yeah." Sean stood in front of Wei Xicheng, motionless. He had stayed in this room a little too long today.

"So, the first opponent you chose is me?"

Five years is nothing in the eternal life of a vampire, and it is nothing in Wei Xicheng's long and lonely life. But the only difference is that Wei Xicheng is still a human being after all, and he can never be as cold and ruthless as the vampires.

Although the two could only see each other for a short time every day, he witnessed the child's growth. Moreover, in the beginning, in order to improve the child's physique, he fed the child part of his own blood, and his body also felt kind and familiar with the little hunter.

"I advise you not to do this, you will die." Wei Xicheng stood up without getting an answer and walked in front of Sean. Then he found that he was actually shorter than the child.

Is it because it is raised too well?

"Before you achieve the future name of Strachey, you'd better learn to be low-key and correctly examine your own abilities." Wei Xicheng slowly turned around and distanced himself from Sean. "I don't want to waste a few years just to raise a fool. Do you understand?"

"I can't." Sean's eyes kept following Mr. Vampire's figure. He thought he might be crazy. He always wondered what the chances were of a hunter taming a vampire bat.

"You get out." Wei Xicheng wrinkled his nose. The smell of blood in the air was dissipating, and the smell of holy water coming from Sean made him very dislike.

"Samuel." Sean's voice became more hoarse and a little sexy after the voice change. He swallowed and said, "We haven't talked for a long time. Maybe we can have a drink together."

"You know, after the coming-of-age ceremony, I may not be able to stay with you anymore." As if afraid that he would reject him, Sean quickly added this sentence. His eyes were shining as he looked at Wei Xicheng, which made Wei Xicheng recall the night when they first met, when he looked at him the same way.

"Okay."

Sean pursed his lips. He had long known that his Mr. Samuel Duke was not as cold-hearted as he looked.

"Then we..."

"Let's go downstairs. I don't want to entertain a drunk in my room." Wei Xicheng brushed his sleeves. He still remembered that three or four years ago, when Sean got drunk for the first time, he held him and refused to let go.

His words obviously evoked Sean's memories. Sean's eyes flashed and his long eyelashes drooped to block the color in his eyes.

Wei Xicheng went out first, followed by Xiao En. When he turned around, he accidentally saw a scroll on the cabinet behind the door. The scroll was open, as if the owner had not had time to put it away.

The edges and corners were a little rough, and it looked very old, and it must have been loved by the owner and often read. But the whole thing was well preserved by the owner, and at a glance, Sean realized that the painter's painting skills were very superb.

Just by taking a glance, he could feel the temperament and charm of the person in the painting.

But what he cared about more was that the person in the painting was a young oriental man.

Is this the important person?

Sean remained calm, closed the door of Wei Xicheng's room, and followed him downstairs.

"Samuel, are you in any trouble?" Sean poured a glass of red wine and handed it to Wei Xicheng. "Before your coming-of-age ceremony, you can still trust me. Who knows, maybe I can help you."

"No need, Sean." Wei Xicheng shook the wine glass. He didn't like the wine very much no matter how mellow it was. "Maybe I will leave Salo City before your coming-of-age ceremony."

"Why?" Sean's pupils shrank slightly. This was something he did not expect.

Wei Xicheng sighed and said no more. To be exact, he didn't know what was wrong with him. He had told himself to be prepared from the beginning that the man would most likely never appear again, but he still couldn't control his desire to look for him.

After staying in Salo City for five years, Wei Xicheng looked up at Sean sitting opposite him and chuckled, as if he had done nothing except cultivating an enemy of the vampires.

He used the system to search for and add similar energy to the energy tank, but found nothing. After all these years, the system's energy was running low.

Wei Xicheng took a big gulp of red wine and swallowed it despite the discomfort. After he got rid of Mavis and her lover and gained some energy, he would move to another place.

"Samuel, answer me." Sean's tone was heavy and he was very angry.

"What should I answer you?" Wei Xicheng squinted at him. This kid might have forgotten who saved his life and raised him. But he was right. A rabbit would not be grateful to a wolf and sacrifice itself just because it temporarily spared itself.

"Samuel, who are you looking for?" Sean put his hands on the table and looked down at the vampire lying on the table.

Wei Xicheng raised his eyes and looked at Sean's knife-like chin. He said, "This has nothing to do with you, my child."

"Your lover?"

Sean was just asking tentatively, but he didn't expect that after he said this, this cute and hateful vampire actually showed a look of nostalgia in his eyes. Even if it was only a flash, it gave him the answer in his heart.

"Samuel, I told you. Maybe I can help you." Kill that man.

"No. You can't help, Sean." Wei Xicheng lifted his face from his arm. He walked to the sofa beside him and curled up to lie down, with his long legs nowhere to put. "Put your silverware away. That's the biggest thing you can do for me."

After saying that, he closed his eyes. He didn't like such strong light during the day.

"Hunters like to boast that they stand in the light, but unfortunately, even in the light there is a shadow cast. The funny thing is that they often cannot tolerate the darkness they created with their own hands.

Sean, I really hope you can grow up quickly, then you will know that helping a vampire is not a glorious thing for a hunter. "

Sean pinched his wrist. The sharp blade had just passed by here, and the touch seemed to still be there. He looked at the man curled up on the sofa and pursed his lips silently. Grow up quickly? He will.

The author has something to say: Many babies are talking about the main storyline.

That... the main plot is to find a gong and then (cross out all the xiuchi pre) fall in love...

---------------------

This world may not be very long... for fingers... because I really want to write about the next world... I still have many worlds I want to write about...

I will try not to talk so much nonsense in the future QAQ.
