I'm angry and need to coax you.

I'm angry and need to coax you.

She bit her lip with her teeth, applying slight force until the corner of her lip bled, and the blood seeped through, making her already crimson lips even redder.

She looked up at Wen Youqing, staring at her lips. She reached out and grabbed Wen Youqing's collar, then closed her eyes and gently kissed her.

Wen Youqing slowed her breathing, lowered her gaze, and stared at Li Yin without blinking.

He couldn't help but reach out and grab Li Yin's neck. He pressed down on him, his reason stretched to its limit, on the verge of collapse. He kissed him wildly, intimately, and tenderly...

He wanted to stay with Li Yin like this for the rest of his life, to feel the excitement and madness in his heart, to let himself be on the verge of losing control, and to let Li Yin be his only operator.

Li Yin's breathing weakened and slowed as the man approached. She gradually succumbed to this struggle, craving the feeling to continue.

After a while, Li Yin's ears turned so red they looked like they could bleed. Wen Youqing released her hand and also let go of Li Yin's mouth. He lowered his eyes and said in a low voice, "Madam, could you please go to the study and wait for me today? I need some time to calm down."

These words caused Li Yin's blush to return slightly, and she quickly replied, "Okay." With that, she strode out.

The hem of her skirt lightly lifted the curtain, swirling around the pillar. The blue hem of her skirt fluttered in the wind, gently brushing against Wen Youqing's hand. He stared at Li Yin's hurried departure, stunned for a moment. Then, he reached out as if to grab the hem of Li Yin's skirt, but in the end, he was too late. He only touched the wind stirred up by the hem of her skirt.

He looked at the hand in the air and smiled softly. "Li Yin, how cruel you are."

As soon as Li Yin stepped off the carriage, he was greeted by a gentle breeze. The wind carried the unique coolness of autumn, which instantly dispelled the heat and the irrational fervor on Li Yin's body.

The maidservant beside him glanced at the corner of Li Yin's lips, then peeked out at the carriage behind Li Yin, where a faintly visible green hem with dark patterns was peeking out. She covered her mouth and smiled, then walked up to Li Yin and said softly, "Madam."

Upon seeing this person, Li Yin asked, "Could you take me to the study?"

Upon hearing this, the man glanced at Li Yin and then looked at the carriage. Li Yin, puzzled, followed his gaze. Apart from the carriage, there was nothing else unusual. Seeing this, the man smiled again and said, "Madam, please come with me."

Li Yin followed the man and entered through the main gate. They walked around the hall, passed through a lush bamboo grove, and then through an archway. After walking for a while, they arrived at a secluded house.

As dusk falls and twilight descends, the day passes quietly. The sky turns crimson as dusk approaches, the woods in the courtyard are sparse, the dark moon is not lonely, and the wind whispers softly.

The houses in front of them were nothing special; in Wenzhou, it was a remote and uninhabited place with little scenery.

Li Yin reached out and pushed open the door, then stepped inside. He saw a wall covered with paintings, the figures in which were lifelike, outlined in ink wash, their spirits vibrant, their skirts swaying like startled swans, their figures graceful as swimming dragons.

The painting was skillful, but it was too impressionistic and didn't resemble a human. Instead, it looked like a goddess from the heavens. Li Yin wondered if it was just her imagination, but she felt that this person was somewhat similar to herself, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

She simply smiled at her absurd idea, and then sat down at her desk.

The desk was neatly arranged with batches of documents on it. Li Yin originally didn't want to read them, since they were all about the Wen family, and most of them were related to the Wen family's power, involving politics and politics, and the waters were as muddy as could be.

She reached out to move the documents aside, but pushing stacks of things like that was no easy task. Sure enough, the stacked "temple" collapsed.

One book after another landed in Li Yin's hands. She frowned slightly, caught the remaining books, and waited until they stopped falling before gently letting go. When they stopped wobbling, she found that they were no longer moving.

She then bent down to pick up all the fallen documents. She picked them up one by one and piled them on the table. However, after picking one up, it slipped back down. Li Yin had to bend down again to pick it up. But when she bent down, she saw the familiar words "Yuling".

She hesitated for a moment, then opened the document. Her heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally settled down. This Yuling was not the same as the Yuling of the past; it was just a place name. She breathed a sigh of relief.

But before she could recover, her heart jumped again. There was a red stamp at the end of the document, a sign of urgency. But that wasn't what worried Li Yin. What worried her was the appearance of the name Lin Zhaoshan.

Her fingers trembled involuntarily. Then, she turned the page, only to find a few words that pierced Li Yin's heart like needles: Lin Zhaoshan had suddenly died at home.

The document fell from her hand with a "thud," landing lightly on the ground, but landing heavily on Li Yin's heart.

In that instant, a series of inexplicable emotions, such as regret, guilt, and reluctance, slowly overwhelmed her. These emotions came inexplicably, especially the last one, which even Li Yin did not know why.

She paused for a moment, took a deep breath, and bent down to pick up the document. Just as she was about to stand up, she bumped into someone. The suddenness of the collision caught Li Yin off guard, and she lost her balance. The person reached out to support her.

Wen Youqing asked softly, "What are you looking at?"

For some reason, Li Yin felt a little guilty. She said, "The documents on the desk."

Upon hearing this, Wen Youqing raised an eyebrow and asked, "Is it about the Qi family? Why are you so concerned, Madam?" As he spoke, he pulled Li Yin up and gently rubbed her neck.

Li Yin let him move as he pleased, but Wen Youqing's hand had an urge to go further. It slowly moved down her neck, and Li Yin grabbed it, using force. Wen Youqing's wrist was immediately reddened, but he just smiled when he saw it.

Li Yin said, "If you're going to ask a question, then ask it properly. Why are your hands so restless?"

Wen Youqing said, "My lady, is this considered taking my hand willingly?"

Li Yin said: "..."

Li Yin released Wen Youqing's hand and said, "Fine, but you're not allowed to do it again."

Wen Youqing's smile deepened as he said, "Madam, were you surprised by Lin Zhaoshan's death?"

Li Yin lowered her eyes and said, "It's none of your business."

Wen Youqing listened, his eyes darkening. He smiled, then looked up at Li Yin and said, "How can it be unrelated to me? It's related to Madam, isn't it related to me?"

Li Yin remained silent, took a step forward, put down what she was holding, and was about to turn and leave when Wen Youqing, for some unknown reason, suddenly grabbed her. The look in her eyes gradually echoed the darkening sky, which Li Yin could neither see nor understand.

She grabbed Wen Youqing's hand that was holding her, and then tried to break free, but just as she was about to escape, Wen Youqing grabbed her again.

Li Yin frowned slightly, his tone tinged with impatience, and said, "Let go."

Wen Youqing raised an eyebrow and said, "Li Yin, are you concerned about him, or Lin Zhaoshan?"

This person puzzled Li Yin, but when he thought of the Qi family, the answer became clear: Qi Shixu, what was his relationship with Lin Zhaoshan...?

Wait a minute, they were master and disciple. Lin Zhaoshan is dead, so the next person is very likely to be Qi Shixu.

She looked up at Wen Youqing, grabbed Wen Youqing's sleeve, and asked urgently, "Has the Qi family been implicated?"

Wen Youqing stared at Li Yin's hand that had climbed onto his arm, then her gaze traveled upwards, following Li Yin's hand to his eyes.

Seeing the concern in Li Yin's eyes for someone other than himself, his heart ached inexplicably, and he deeply regretted his decision to let Li Yin go in the carriage earlier.

Wen Youqing said with a half-smile, "You care a lot about his life and death? But he's just someone you've met a few times, while you've met me hundreds of times. Li Yin, you should know me well, only me well."

As he spoke, he grabbed Li Yin's wrist with such force that Li Yin could not break free. Her wrist turned red from the slightest struggle. She said, "Let go."

Wen Youqing seemed not to hear her. He continued to hold on, refusing to loosen his grip. Li Yin lost her patience and pushed Wen Youqing, placing her hand on his chest. She pushed him hard, but he didn't budge. His eyes were full of mockery as he looked at her.

Li Yin felt him staring at him, his gaze like that of a superior staring at a subordinate, or a beast staring at its prey, with a hint of amusement.

He held Li Yin's hand, gently stroking it, his fingertips lightly brushing against it. The seemingly gentle movement sent a chill down Li Yin's spine, and she took a step back, but Wen Youqing followed closely behind.

She took a step back, and he took a step forward, closing in step by step, refusing to give way. Wen Youqing relentlessly pursued Li Yin until Li Yin's back finally pressed against the door.

Outside, it was mostly dark, the moon was lonely, hanging high in the sky, the clouds and mist had dispersed, and people were few and far between.

The light inside the room dimmed, and Li Yin couldn't see or understand the expression in Wen Youqing's eyes. With nowhere left to retreat, she stood still.

Wen Youqing reached out and gently lifted a strand of her hair, rubbing it lightly on his hand. Then he brought the fragrant hair to his lips and gently kissed it, his movements slow and tender, as if lingering.

Li Yin sensed the warm breath of the person beside her, so she slowed her own breathing. The faint medicinal fragrance emanating from that person lingered around her nose, momentarily disrupting her heartbeat.

She stood there, stunned, and lowered her head, saying nothing.

Wen Youqing stared at Li Yin's lips and said, "Li Yin, I'm angry. Shouldn't you try to coax me?"

Li Yin's lips parted slightly, as if she was about to say something, but the words caught in her throat. She felt that Wen Youqing was too sick.

Unable to get the answer he wanted, Wen Youqing took another half step forward. He released Li Yin's hair, but in the blink of an eye, he lifted Li Yin's chin. By the moonlight, the two looked into each other's eyes.

Li Yin lowered her eyes. She didn't want to look into Wen Youqing's eyes; they were too captivating and could easily make her feel that Wen Youqing was wronged, causing her resolute heart to waver.
