Chapter 64 I'll flaunt myself right in front of you

After Su Er went up, at Ji Hong's insistence, the group drank some wine.

They weren't exactly drunk, but the conversation, which had started out of nowhere, continued late into the night.

The moonlight was dim, and the courtyard returned to silence after a period of noise. Jiang Siyan went upstairs with the handrail, but he stopped when he touched the cool doorknob.

A few seconds later, he turned and walked to the bathroom next to his bedroom to wash off the smell of smoke and alcohol before returning to his room.

The air conditioning in the room was blowing cold air, and the curtains were drawn tightly, not letting in a single ray of light. Following his memory, Jiang Siyan instinctively stepped down and sat on the edge of the bed without any bumps or hindrance.

A faint, lingering scent of roses enveloped his nose. Jiang Siyan reached out and touched a patch of cold, soft skin.

After my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I could vaguely make out the figure of a little person hugging a pillow, curled up in a small ball in the middle of the bed, with the blanket barely reaching their thighs, and their nightgown pushed up to their waist in their sleep.

Jiang Siyan lay down on his side, swung his long arm to pull the blanket up for her, and then used one hand to put his arm around her overly cold shoulders and back.

Sensing the familiar presence, Su Er loosened her grip on the pillow, pushed it behind her, and naturally wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing herself against him.

Jiang Siyan was also somewhat helpless at this moment, wondering how he had developed the habit of sleeping so close to people.

After an afternoon of training, Su Er was so tired she could barely keep her eyes open. Smelling the faint scent of alcohol on him, she mumbled, "Have you been drinking?"

"Hmm, a little."

She muttered subconsciously, "I want to drink it next time too."

Jiang Siyan chuckled, "Alright, you glutton."

In just a few words, the person in my arms fell asleep again, breathing steadily.

Jiang Siyan looked down at her peaceful sleeping face, and couldn't bear to disturb her any longer.

This night, unlike the ambiguous and tender moments Su Er had anticipated, was instead adorned with an embrace filled with warmth.

At six o'clock in the morning, Su Er, remembering that she still had to go back to the training base, forced herself to open her eyes in the warm and comfortable embrace.

She reached under her pillow for her phone, glanced at the time, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Perhaps his earlier movements had disturbed the person beside him, because Jiang Siyan pulled her back into his arms, resting his chin on the top of her head, his voice hoarse with the early morning huskiness, "Awake?"

Su Er asked somewhat apologetically, "Did I wake you up?"

She went to bed quite late last night. In her half-awake state, Jiang Siyan came over and hugged her. It must have been past midnight by then. So, he had only slept for a few hours.

Jiang Siyan asked with his eyes closed, "What time is it?"

"Six o'clock," Su Er removed his hand from her waist and sat up with a struggle in her heart. "There's still time. You can sleep a little longer and have the driver take me home. It's the weekend, so you should get some rest."

Jiang Siyan wrapped his arms around her waist and gently hooked her hand, causing Su Er, whose willpower was already weak, to fall back onto the pillow.

He breathed into her ear, "Our little fairy is so considerate."

Su Er calculated the time; there was no morning rush hour on the weekend, so she should have enough time.

Thinking she could lie down for another five minutes, she adjusted to a more comfortable position, reached out and poked his face with her finger, and asked curiously, "Why did you give me this nickname?"

Jiang Siyan pulled her wandering hand away, intertwined their fingers, and asked, "Don't you like it?"

"No, not really." Su Er shook her head and said, "Although I am quite pretty, this nickname is too flashy."

She is not someone who is unaware of her beauty. On the contrary, as an actress, only by knowing where her most beautiful side lies can she show the most authentic and moving side on camera.

But everyone around Jiang Siyan was shrewd and calculating. Even if they thought they were as beautiful as angels, they would pretend to be ignorant and ask, "Really? Is that true?"

Only she was always uninhibited in front of him, always appearing naturally fearless.

Jiang Siyan opened his eyes, looked into those clear eyes, and asked with amusement, "Isn't what you're saying a bit more flamboyant?"

“I’m telling the truth.” Su Er suddenly propped himself up, moved his arms forward, his long hair spreading out on his chest. His tone, full of spoiled arrogance, was not at all annoying. “Besides, I’m showing off in front of you.”

After lying there for another five minutes, Su Er sighed and got up. Jiang Siyan grabbed her arm and smiled flirtatiously, "Aren't you going to lie down with me for a little while longer?"

Su Er resolutely turned her head away, determined not to be swayed by him this time. She threw off the covers, slipped on her slippers, and rushed into the bathroom to wash up. "I'm not lying down anymore, you go to sleep."

The cool water splashed on my cheeks, and the weariness and drowsiness dissipated considerably.

After washing up, Su Er patted the water and looked at herself in the mirror. She had slept well last night and eaten in moderation, so she was in a much better state today.

While applying face cream, she heard the sound of the curtains being drawn back in the room. She peeked out and saw that it was bright daylight outside.

Su Er was momentarily stunned when she saw Jiang Siyan bathed in sunlight.

He was shirtless, drinking water with his neck slightly tilted back.

His Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed, his broad shoulders and narrow waist accentuated by the light and shadow, making Su Er swallow hard.

Jiang Siyan noticed her overly intense gaze, put down his cup, and turned to look at her.

Meeting those smiling eyes, Su Er suddenly realized what was happening, and hurriedly looked away, feigning nonchalance as she asked, "Why are you up?"

"You're already awake, let me take you home."

"Oh, okay." Su Er's eyes darted around, and she quickly pulled her head back into the bathroom. After applying face cream, her complexion looked excellent.

Su Er patted her forehead again, but the lewd thoughts in her mind didn't dissipate. She couldn't help but curse herself inwardly for being blinded by lust!

Just as she was feeling frustrated, Su Er looked up and met Jiang Siyan's gaze in the mirror, who was standing with his arms crossed.

Feeling guilty, Su Er only wanted to run away as quickly as possible, and her steps became disordered, showing her hurried pace.

As she walked to his side, Jiang Siyan casually put his arm around her waist, looking at her with a half-smile, and asked, "Why are you running so fast?"

"I'm going to have breakfast, or I'll be too late." She stiffened her neck, trying to appear more confident.

Jiang Siyan nodded, seemingly agreeing with her explanation, and loosened his grip on her waist.

Just as Su Er was about to breathe a sigh of relief, a warm, humid breath suddenly enveloped her earlobe.

Jiang Siyan whispered something profound in her ear.

"From now on, if you want to look, just be open about it. What kind of good girl peeks?" He paused, then gently flicked her rounded earlobe with his knuckles. "You agree, right, you little pervert?"

Su Er knew that he had seen through her infatuated look as she stared at him, so she covered her face, pushed him away, and angrily scolded, "Ugh, you're so annoying!"
