Why did he suddenly come looking for her again after two months? Why did he treat her that way that night? How much of the tenderness in his eyes was genuine and how much was fake?
Su Er had so many questions she wanted to ask, but in the end, they all boiled down to just one sentence.
She didn't want to cry, but uncontrollably, tears streamed down her face and into her hair, making her previously dried hair feel damp and cool again.
Jiang Siyan gently stroked her reddened eyes with his fingertips. The confusion, helplessness, and fragility in her eyes were like those of an ignorant child.
He sighed softly, "Er Er..."
What do you want me to take you for?
The question was never asked.
Lin Shuqin suddenly walked over and said, "Xiao Er, are you done blowing?"
Su Er abruptly pulled his wrist away, wiped away her tears, sat up straight, and replied, "Okay, let the driver go."
Lin Shuqin glanced at the two and noticed the unusual atmosphere between them. She wanted to give them some space to talk properly, but before she could leave, Fang Li ran over. The girl was so energetic that Lin Shuqin couldn't hold her back.
Fang Li sat down in her usual seat, looked up, stared wide-eyed at Lin Shuqin, and mouthed, "What's wrong?"

Su Er didn't want to sit with Jiang Siyan, so she called out to Fang Li, "Lili, sit next to me. I'm dizzy. Can you lean on me?"
At this moment, only someone like Fang Li, who was oblivious to social cues, dared to run over so brazenly and pat Jiang Siyan, who was standing there, on the shoulder. "Mr. Jiang, can I pass by? Sister Er'er is calling me."
Jiang Siyan's face turned pale and then red, but looking at this "silly" girl, getting angry with her was like talking to a brick wall.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Su Er pulled Fang Li's hand and sat down, covered her head with the shawl, closed her eyes, and didn't care what his mood was.
The dry, taut tear tracks on her cheeks reminded her of her impulsive actions.
Su Er felt a little regretful. She shouldn't have asked that question. It had been two months, and asking it now would make it seem like she couldn't let go of him.
The car slowly started moving. It took about ten minutes to get from the film set to the hotel. After her moment of regret, she wanted to take a nap, but perhaps because of her dizziness, she drifted off to sleep.
She didn't even realize the car had arrived. When she woke up, she felt dizzy and stared blankly at the swaying light and shadows hidden by the shawl for a few seconds before belatedly realizing that Jiang Siyan was carrying her.
She walked this road for half a year, and just hearing the sound of the stones falling on the marble floor told her that it was still quite a distance from her room.
She gently patted Jiang Siyan's shoulder and whispered, "I'm awake, Mr. Jiang. Please put me down and walk by yourself, thank you."
"You, Mr. Jiang," they addressed each other as they had first met, with an added air of deliberate avoidance of suspicion.
Jiang Siyan understood, and she stopped dwelling on the answer to the question she had just asked. She didn't want to listen to a word he said and only wanted to cut ties with him completely.
Jiang Siyan was seething with anger, but he tried his best to keep his tone calm when he spoke, "You have a fever. I'll take you back to your room first, and we can talk about it when we get there."
Just as Su Er was about to refuse, she heard Lin Shuqin suddenly lower her voice and say, "Mr. Jiang, there are paparazzi following us. Please hurry up."
Su Er no longer has the chance to come down. Jiang Siyan and the others dare not release it, but they can isolate her separately.
If the shawl accidentally falls off and reveals her face, who knows what kind of trouble it will cause.
