It snowed in Beicheng a couple of days ago, and the temperature has been very low these past two days. Fortunately, today's red carpet interviews are all held indoors. Su Er took off her shawl, checked that the embroidery behind her hadn't smudged, then opened the car door, got out, and hurried to the preparation area.
After all the red carpet photo sessions were over, everyone took their seats.
It wasn't a round-table dinner; it was more like a symphony concert, with seats arranged in a tiered classroom style.
The invited guests entered one after another. To Su Er's right sat a brand executive. After chatting with him familiarly for a few minutes, she was just starting to feel bored when someone gently patted her shoulder, "Xiao Er."
Su Eryi exclaimed "Wow!" and stood up, giving her a warm hug and saying sweetly, "Sister Sui, it's been so long! You've become even more beautiful."
Shu Sui tapped her forehead. "You're just good at comforting me."
“I’m not kidding you,” Su Er said with exceptional sincerity. “Sister Sui, your eyes are full of smiles.”
Su Er could sense that Shu Sui's eyebrows and eyes were much more relaxed compared to when they were filming together a few months ago.
How to describe it? It's probably like... overflowing with a sense of happiness.
Shu Sui lowered her eyes and smiled faintly, "Is that so?"
Su Er nodded vigorously, "Mm."
Shu Sui and Su Er were seated just two brand executives apart, and before everyone was seated, the two chatted warmly.
Shu Sui looked at her outfit and suddenly asked, "That flower on your back today is the finishing touch. How did you come up with that?"
Su Er thought of the reason, chuckled, and said cheerfully, "It was the stylist's idea."
"Your stylist is really good. Your makeup looks great today too. Have you seen it trending on social media? It's going straight up."
At this point, Su Er suddenly remembered, "I left my phone with my assistant, I didn't take it."
Shu Sui looked around. "Why don't we go get it now? Otherwise, it'll be boring while we wait."
"Okay, then see you in a bit, Sister Sui."
Su Er returned with her phone. The lights had already dimmed. Her eyesight wasn't very good to begin with, and now that her long dress was obstructing her vision, it made it even more difficult for her to take steps.
Just as she squinted, trying to make out the next step, her arm suddenly tightened around hers. A gentle voice, familiar to Su Er, said, "Let's go, I'll take you."
Su Er didn't stand on ceremony and smiled at the person beside her, "Thank you, senior brother."
