Chapter 93 You listen to me so much!

Su Er's scenes wrapped up in mid-January. She was holding flowers, and the camera lens was pointed at her.

Su Er smiled brightly, "I am very grateful to the director, and also to every teacher and staff member who worked with me during this period of time for their hard work. I hope 'Spring in the City' will be a huge hit!"

Amid cheers, Su Er finally managed to escape the onslaught of cream cannonballs.

She dialed the number she had missed earlier, her voice still brimming with lingering joy, "Hello."

"Is filming wrapped up?" Jiang Siyan asked.

"Um."

What time will you arrive?

"Wait a minute, let me check." Su Er opened the flight app and checked the time. "Around 8:30."

Jiang Siyan: "Then I'll come pick you up."

Su Er was about to agree when she suddenly remembered to remind him, "Just wait for me in the car. There might be fans picking us up at the airport, so it might take a little while for them to come out."

During filming, Su Er also officially started promoting her previous drama.

Because of the popularity generated by the previous behind-the-scenes footage, the production team intends to leverage Su Er's popularity to elevate the film's overall buzz to new heights.

Su Er was naturally willing to cooperate.

To this end, Su Er took advantage of her break time to specially hire a makeup artist to recreate the retro look of wearing a cheongsam during the shoot and filmed several short promotional videos.

She capitalized on this wave of popularity at the right time, and her fan base has surged recently. Paparazzi have also become much more interested in her private life.

Lin Shuqin repeatedly reminded her that things were different now, especially the photos of her with Jiang Siyan.

Nowadays, all sorts of ways of revealing information are emerging one after another. They dare not say it openly, so they use novels and comics to allude to it, and then they make up a story that she relied on a big shot to rise to power. Then she will definitely gain another wave of haters.

"Did you hear me?" Su Er asked again in a sweet voice when he didn't answer.

This airport pick-up was something Jiang Siyan rarely did; he rarely acted so pathetically.

But since the young girl had already spoken, there was no room for argument. Jiang Siyan chimed in, "Okay, big star, we'll listen to you."

Su Er chuckled and, taking advantage of the situation, coaxed him, "Then I'll prepare a van for you. Please sit in the back a little. Love you, bye."

Fearing that these demands would annoy her, Su Er hung up the phone very quickly.

The weather was good in both cities today, and the takeoff and landing times were very precise.

But after getting off the plane, fans kept handing her letters as she walked, which slowed her down by half an hour. Especially when she got to her van, a group of people lingered there, reluctant to leave.

Su Er stood in front of the car door and said goodbye to her fans: "I know you all like me very much, but please don't come to pick me up at the airport anymore. It's dangerous if you fall down on the street."

"Okay, Er'er, be careful on the road."

"Hurry up and go home." Lin Shuqin opened the car door for her, and Su Er immediately saw the man sitting in the back seat.

His sculpted features were hidden in the dim light, and his eyes seemed to be smiling but not smiling. Su Er winked at him quietly, got into the car, and closed the door.

She rolled down the car window and waved to the fans outside, saying, "Bye-bye, be careful!"

Goodbye, Er'er!

As soon as the car window closed, Su Er unbuckled her seatbelt, bent over, ran to the back seat, hugged Jiang Siyan's neck, and kissed him.

Because there were other people in the car, Su Er didn't dare to be too presumptuous. She just rubbed her nose against his cheek, lowered her eyes, and smiled, saying, "You listen to me so well."

“There’s nothing I can do. Our Er’er is so powerful now. A whole bunch of people outside listen to her and obey her every word. How can I not listen to her?” Jiang Siyan put his arm around her waist and pulled her onto his lap. He teasingly pressed his lips to her earlobe and asked, “Right, little teacher?”

He loved giving himself all sorts of nicknames. Su Er patted his shoulder and said with a embarrassed reproach, "What are you calling me again?"

The car wheels started turning steadily on the road. Lin Shuqin glanced at the back seat, but couldn't bear to look, so she coughed lightly to remind her, "Xiao Er, the car is moving, sit tight."

Su Er wrinkled her nose at him, quickly got up from him, and obediently sat down on the chair next to him.

She looked out the window at the changing scenery, not the roads she was familiar with, and only then did she remember to ask, "Where are we going?"

"Let's go eat."

Su Er nodded, somewhat bewildered, and didn't ask any more questions. In short, the food at the places Jiang Siyan chose was always top-notch.

As the car entered the underground parking garage, Su Er couldn't help but ask, "Is there food here?"

Jiang Siyan curled the corners of his lips. "Of course I have."

Su Er knew this place; it was a top-tier residential area in the northern part of the city, but she had never heard of any food options there.

Once the car came to a complete stop, Jiang Siyan took her suitcase and led her into the elevator.

Su Er watched him press the button for the highest floor, and asked somewhat slowly, "Are you going back to Dongfeng Lane to stay after you finish eating?"

Jiang Siyan put his arm around her and said, "We're not going back. We'll stay here."

As soon as she finished speaking, the elevator doors opened with a soft, gentle female voice announcing the start of the announcement.

The gleaming gray marble shimmered under the spotlights, reflecting the images of the two of them.

With a "beep," the combination lock opened, revealing the brightly lit night scene of the northern city, a stark contrast to the rustic charm of the old house that had exuded a sense of historical depth.

The lights of every home are now contained within the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows, and the bustling traffic lanes, like the veins that run through the city, vibrantly display the city's most dazzling brilliance.

Jiang Siyan put his arm around her shoulder and led her towards the restaurant. His low, husky voice was like a gentle spring breeze, nourishing everything silently, yet capable of stirring up the first hint of green in spring.
