A person was surrounded by a group of men in black whose faces could not be seen clearly. It seemed that he was being targeted.
As the figure swayed, the man's face flashed before Bu Tiange's eyes.
Bu Tiange narrowed his eyes, making sure that the person he saw was Shi Che.
"Let's go together?" Shi Che took off his glasses, and his aloof voice cooled the remaining summer heat.
He raised his eyes, and the pupils that were usually hidden behind the lenses were shining coldly.
Seeing no one answer, he continued, "Since you don't answer, I won't be polite to you."
Who did he offend?
Bu Tiange had an idea and hid behind the wall, watching him take care of those people with great skill.
He was clearly using the fruit knife that she had hidden on her body that day, but he was like an assassin manipulating a dagger, cutting through iron like mud and killing people with one blow.
A moment later, everyone fell to the ground, and their bodies disappeared without a trace like mist.
Shi Che took out his glasses and put them back on, then said casually, "Come out."
Bu Tiange shrank back, concentrated and held his breath, hiding behind the wall.
The footsteps were getting closer, Shi Che slowly walked to the corner, the lights were just coming on, and his tall dark shadow enveloped her.
"Like a turtle hiding in its shell, not daring to come out, this is not your style, right, Bu Tiange?" he said.
Bu Tiange leaned against the wall, showing no fear of being exposed.
She held out her hand to him, "Give me back the knife."
Shi Che curled his lips and pulled out a knife with a black sheath.
"You mean this?"
"Give it back to me." Bu Tiange emphasized his words slightly.
Shi Che played with the knife, his drooping eyelashes hiding a dark mood. "You discovered my secret. Do you think I will use it to kill you, or give it back to you?"
Bu Tiange was not afraid but laughed and said, "If you kill me, will I disappear without a trace like them?"
"Won't."
"Okay, that's my question." Bu Tiange propped himself up on his elbows, looked him straight in the eyes, and asked in a deep voice, "Who are they?"
Shi Che paused, still playing with the knife. He said, "You're not qualified to know."
Bu Tiange seized the opportunity and took the knife back.
She unsheathed the knife, and the blade was still as shiny as new. She had watched it kiss her neck, but it wasn't stained with blood.
Shi Che frowned, obviously dissatisfied with her little trick.
Bu Tiange put away the knife and said, "You killed someone, so you should turn yourself in."
"You can see that these people are different from us."
Shi Che shrugged, a strange luster rising in his eyes behind his lenses. "When I killed them, it didn't feel like I was killing anyone. Instead, it felt like... I was playing a virtual game."
Bu Tiange sneered disdainfully, "The feeling of killing someone? Then do you know what it feels like to kill someone?"
Shi Che said: "I just said it casually, you don't know anyway."
Bu Tiange looked at him with a strange gaze, as if he was looking at another person.
"Alright, you're pretty good at this. How long have you been hiding?"
"Not as long as you." Shi Che looked at her, his tone slightly surprised. "Haven't you ever played games? I thought you learned from games like me."
"No." Bu Tiange smiled softly and shook his head. After he looked away, the smile gradually faded.
He hinted to her, both explicitly and implicitly, that he treated all this as a game.
But the more you try to hide something, the more obvious it becomes.
Bu Tiange couldn't help but wonder, if Shi Che really had this skill, why would he allow someone to cripple his right hand?
No matter how weak he is, he can't possibly give up his own future, right?
Noticing Shi Che's gaze once again, she looked up and said with a smile, "I'm in a hurry to go home. Excuse me."
