Chapter 195: Galaxy Past (5)

Seth called out, "Captain."

His consciousness was suddenly brought back, and Bu Tiange gently stroked his temple, which was almost exploding with pain.

"Captain, are you okay?" Seth touched her with his tentacles and asked cautiously.

"I'm fine."

Bu Tiange stood up, and Seth followed her out of the execution ground step by step.

He suddenly knelt on one knee and said, "I have failed to perform my duties properly. Please punish me, Commander."

Bu Tiange didn't turn around, his voice was cold, "It's good that you know."

With every step she took forward, the surviving Union soldiers took a step back.

Everyone covets the huge reward on the wanted poster, but when the opportunity really comes, they know what it means to be daunted.

Bu Tiange narrowed his eyes slightly and said coldly, "Get lost."

The sergeant stood still, saluting as he watched her walk into the battleship, maneuver the black behemoth into the air, and leave the planet surrounded by terror.

The control center then issued an order: "Activate level one defense alert."

It's defense, not counterattack.

They had taken the initiative to stir up trouble in an attempt to wipe out the mercenary group, but now they only hope to protect themselves.

It's really ridiculous.

Inside the battleship.

Bu Tiange took off his coat and poured himself a glass of water.

Under the coat, all the skin not covered by the fabric was quietly covered with blood.

After a thorough examination of her body, AI Zero warned, "Captain, your body's functions are rapidly declining. You can no longer use your abilities."

"I understand." Bu Tiange nodded nonchalantly.

One hundred years ago, an astronomical project aimed at developing human potential was forced to be terminated, and she, who should have been destroyed as a failure, survived.

Later, she spent thirty years erasing the experimental records, eliminating all possible insiders, and burying her past.

She had promised him that she would not use her ability unless it was absolutely necessary.

But now, she thought, it was time.

Whether they were lovers or rivals, no matter what their identities were, he suddenly gave up and left her alone in such a huge, cold universe that was still expanding.

What does this mean?

AI Zero highlighted the secret message in red and pinned it to the top. "Captain, would you like to decode this message?" he asked.

Bu Tiange lightly touched the light screen and completely deleted it from the to-do list.

"Captain..." AI Zero was stunned.

"There's no need for that," Bu Tiange said. "Don't mention this matter in front of me again. I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself and destroy the alliance he's protecting with his life."

She hated this absurd world and also hated herself for being born for an experiment.

But everything she hated was exactly what he believed in.

How could she fall for such a jerk?

Bu Tiange closed the to-do bar, turned on the communication system, and the holographic image of Zero appeared on the light screen.

He stopped what he was doing and saluted the screen. "Captain, what's going on?"

Bu Tiange looked at him, his tone as normal as when he gave any other trivial instructions. "The future of the mercenary group is in your hands. I want to see him one last time."

Zero stood up from his chair and shouted, "Captain, you can't go!"

"I know the mercenary group can't do without me, but..."

Bu Tiange rubbed his forehead, and the bulging veins on the back of his hand scared Zero.

Putting her hand down, she smiled faintly and said, "See? I won't live much longer. One day you will have to break away from my protection and learn to live on your own."

"And I should also do something meaningful to me."

For example, go see him again.
