Now that Sheng's father asked him face to face, he would of course take the opportunity to confirm his status.
"Hmph! You sound nice now, but if we hadn't discovered it today, would you have continued to hide it from us?" Sheng Shichu still didn't give him a good look.
"I told Shi Chu that I wanted to make it public, but she disagreed." Jing Kai said helplessly.
