The two walked into a shop, and as soon as they entered, the owner greeted them warmly.
"Could you please get me a box of face cream?"
"Okay."
The shop owner, all smiles, handed Qin Yi a box of face cream.
"Let's see if there's anything else we need, and buy it together."
The proprietress, a seasoned businesswoman, was shrewd enough to tell they were a newlywed couple. Especially considering Qin Yi's disability and his beautiful young wife, with her stunning looks, she had to try her best to please her.
He then smiled and spoke to Su Wan.
"Girl, you've come to the right place. Look at this face cream, it's made by a big factory, it makes your face so smooth."
As he spoke, he scooped out a piece and smeared it on Su Wan's hand, praising her as he did so.
"Okay, this one will do."
Su Wan looked at Qin Yi.
"I don't need anything else for now, I'll buy it when I think of it."
"Okay."
Qin Yi paid the money, and Su Wan pushed Qin Yi as they walked and shopped. Qin Yi picked out two new outfits for Su Wan, and Su Wan looked at him.
Are you trying to please me?
"Yes, it's only natural to please my wife."
Lin Changchun looked at Qin Yi's shameless behavior with disgust.
After strolling around for a while, seeing that it was lunchtime, Lin Changchun suggested going out to eat at a restaurant. Qin Yi nodded. Su Wan bought some menstrual pads, and feeling embarrassed to carry them, she told Qin Yi.
"I'll put it in the car first."
Lin Changchun was eager to go, but Qin Yi stopped him.
The two waited for half an hour but did not see Su Wan return. As if he had thought of something, Qin Yi's eyelids twitched uncontrollably.
"Changchun, quick, go check the car."
When the two arrived at the car, Su Wan was nowhere to be seen; the things she had bought were scattered all over the ground.
